New grower needing advice on plants

That will work. You are trying to dry slowly enough that it takes 7 to 10 days to get to where they can go in the jar.

Ohh ok. What should the humidity be in grow room and temp??

This is a moving target throughout the grow. Nominally the seedlings or fresh clones would be under a dome to see 100% RH. If possible, the range is between 60 and 40% RH starting high and ending low (this is to help prevent mold–bud rot). Ideal temps are between 75 and 80F with ideal being about 78F. This is what I target as some terpenes are volatile at a low temperature and would prefer not to ‘cook’ them out of the flower.

A cannabis VPD chart can be helpful.

My kit is here ready to get proper water. So soil slurry test

I leaned how to do that. I will do it in the am. How deep do I stick the tester in? I do t want to damage it…

Nicky I did soul slurry test. 6.0 was result of plants in trying to save. What do I do… higher ph water to balance it out. Like 7.0?

No. Do not over Compensate always stay within range. Soil is 6.3-6.8 so you can give some 6.8 water but not higher. Ultimately you want to be giving 6.5 in veg and can go a little higher in flower due to nitrogen is less available at higher ph’s.
So for now just give 6.5 water give it a good water and let some run off and then stick to 6.5 waterings.

Did you check runoff again for the pH to see what it was after you watered them? Like after you checked and it was 6.0?

No but I have the run off water in a bucket. I can check it when lights are on.

Run off matters for tds only not for PH.
It’s not an accurate way to test PH. Your better off doing another soil slurry test in a day or two.

I shall second what Nicky says :+1:t3:
I mean technically speaking he could keep it from a 6.0-6.8 though, but I definitely recommend what nickys saying :+1:t3::v:t3:

Okay. I have a tds meter
Around here. I will use it next time I water.

I spilled the last bit of run off -_- I did ph it and 7.9 was the result smh

Yeah I’d do another soil slurry test in a day or two.
But how are they actually looking? Do they still look happy? Post up some pics if you could under some natural light

Can’t let runoff water sit before PH is done. Salts will age and PH will go up.

This is what they are looking like now
