Hello all I am new and 4 white widows going from feminized seeds, how much lighting is actually needed? Do my plants look okay?
They look great. What kind of light do you have? If you can post a picture of it and the power consumption we could help you more. More details the better.
Also what size of space are you trying to light?
18-6 veg cycle and 12-12 flower cycle. They look like they could use a compost tea to straighten that color out. Depending on the strain most plants color during late stages of flower. Discoloration during veg stage can mean plants are low or abundant on nutrients. Putting a compost tea brew should bring the plants to tip top condition.

They will grow with only 8 hours of sunlight but the yield will suc.

That light is only 140 watts so more light is going to be necessary soon.

You will want to look at a light upgrade if you continue growing and I would suggest you get smart on the technology out there today. These lights from Amazon are kind of a ripoff as they do not put out the light they claim. Plus the LED’s used are like 10 year old tech. Buying a light from HLG, Spider Farm or CHILled Logic will cost you upfront more but you get latest tech, highest efficacy and beats out anything else on the market. You can run just about 1/2 the power needed for the older LED’s with a cost saving every month. My first month the electric bill went down $60. My wife was very happy with me…

Might not hurt but you should have plenty of light now. Be sure to have a good exhaust fan in there because it’s gonna get hot.
My exhaust van sucks my whole tent in lol
