@BrainwrecK
I understand. We have the same law. I was just suggesting that it doesn’t have to be a “container” per se. For example, I just have a lock on the basement door and the whole basement is my locked area. A 30" tall cabinet is going to be tough, not that it can’t be done, but throwing a lock on a door somewhere is just so much easier.
Might I recommend instead, something like one of those wardrobe cabinets, or food pantries that you assemble at home and are fairly inexpensive. A simple hasp and lock and you get a more proper height grow area. There are people on here that use those, not sure who right off hand, but I’ve seen them around.
Sorry if my first reply seemed short, or terse, I was in a hurry and was just blurting out
Sounds and looks like you’re off to a great start, in my opinion inside growing is definitely the only way to grow cannabis, AUTO FLOWER!!! FANTASTIC…, way too many obstacles one has to deal with OUTSIDE, unpredictable weather,BUGS,DEER, NOSEY PEOPLE, etc I will make a suggestion, you will need a lot bigger grow space, (your plants)
She’s going to need space to hold all her baby’s (BUD’S) What
I have found out is~ their is no set science behind growing cannabis, what I mean is, one person grows this way , while one will chose another way, all
In their own Fashion, and as for grow lights, I chose a FULL SPECTRUM led , easy on electric bill too, The people here on this ILGM forum are great, but use CAUTION!!
Got my new light and inline fan installed and everything is looking great so far
plant turns 30 days old tomorrow so far she seems to be doing well so far and i am running 18/6 light cycle which is my understanding is the most optimal?
It is measuring 10 inches tall from soil to top hopefully that is good
thanks to everyone for your help and advice so far. i used the clips to perform some LST on it to helpfully keep it able to grow in the space i have available. I also have been trimming as many leaves from the bottom of the plant as possible which is my understand you are supposed to do?
my numbers seem be where they need to be for PPFD almost 700 which i have at only 60 percent light capacity when I crank it to 100% the PPFD goes over 1000 which is my understanding is supposed to be done during flower? is that correct?
i also purchased a soil monitor which helps me ensure I don’t overwater or underwater is working great so far when it gets to 25% i give water until get gets to 80 or so it seems to be working well so far
I also have a question about trimming? should i trim all the big fan leaves that don’t have any branches coming off them to help the plant focus on more possible bud growth?
thanks again and any input you all have would be greatly appreciated
Running autoflowers limits you inherently on the end product quality you will get because autoflowers inherently have the undesirable ruderalis gene contained within them, making them leafier, less frosty and inferior
…Depends on how you grow them … But in general Id say you have a valid point on Photos…I grow a photo each season too!
Hey Brainwreck: how ya doing man ! Hey I was looking at your setup well done BAD @$$ Myfriend! But have ya thought about getting a grow tent, you would be far much happier!
Wood construction grow room,
I’ll tell ya from experience ~ the wood although cheeper to build
Will let ya down man in the long run,it will eat your humidity up by soaking into the wood causing mold and other nasty crap, look into a grow tent, my tent is a COSTWAY 6’W-6’.7T-8’L
10" ventilation openings large doors front/back very cool,
I’d ditch the tin foil and either paint it white, or buy a roll of Reflectix from the local big box store. You’ll get better reflectivity and coverage, easier to clean and won’t tear.
Plant looks good! Have you topped it, or LST’d the top? it’s hard to tell from the pic, and that top is going to have to be controlled if you hope to keep it short enough. Generally, removing the bottom fans is for larger plants to increase airflow. I try to leave my bottoms on for a little longer, and remove the top fans instead, when they get big enough to block light and can’t be tucked behind branches or tips anymore. No harm done, and every situation has different hurdles to overcome.
Hello: OGincognito
Good morning, no sir my lights are not florescent lights, they are LED full spectrum grow lights especially made for cannabis,
I have learned that the flash that is produced from a camera,is very detrimental to very sensitive cannabis grow,SO how are u doing Myfriend, IT’S been awhile,
Any other advice? I AM LISTENING, VERY INTERESTED,
at age 60 retired union ironworker, planted cannabis all my life, although this is my first time ever with a inside grow tent,
It’s definitely a lesson to be learned, finally I can grow my pain LIVING ON PLANET EARTH
medicine,
Buenos Dias Grow Bro and congrats on moving indoors. It’s a labor of love for sure my friend! I was curious on the light fixtures wattage and color spectrums, the node spacing is pretty stretched. I’ve spent the last 3 years crafting my inside grow and still learning. Your ladies are definitely healthy and a vibrant green
My wattage? can’t find my box lights came in,and my girls are still in sleep mode right now, their wake up time is another hour and half away, plants are
California Dream, Fox Farms ocean forest soil, Flora trio nutrients, very tall, my experience in past with TOPPING a plant went horribly wrong, tool’s sterilized everything covered,I THOUGHT, BUT…
LIFE’S A GARDEN DIG IT !
hey: OGincognito
you asked this morning on my lighting system: as follows -FREELICHT~4 pack 4’ full spectrum LED 60watt 350 watt
Equivalent: linkable, you saw that my bud sites were too far apart?
I WONDER what the hell happened,I purchased California Dream autoflower seed’s,ILGM.
And what is puzzles me is , they all look like a mixed breed of ???
And to top it all off, ONE MALE~
AND TWO HERMIE’S, the male plant I 86’D HIS @$$ PRONTO!!!
Legal here in Missouri finally!
Went SEED shopping? ILGM won
The toss, and now??? I’m listening brother, ya got any advice.
What’s the foot print of the total grow space Brother? 35-40 watts from a solid fixture like HLG, Spider Farmer, or Kind to name a few is recommended. I’m usually in the 50 watt per square foot range, gives me better corner coverage when the space is full
Sorry Brother not familiar with the lights but dig the grow room. I should have mentioned the 35-40 watts per sqft with a fixture using efficient diodes, AC Infinity is putting out some affordable lights, HLG would be more expensive but a great light
