Thanks for all of your help! @fano_man I have been ph’ing all water between 5.8-6.0 and my EC has been around 600 the last couple feedings. I do have an RO system so my water isn’t too influential. Can I up my EC on my feedings? Also I have been using a feed/water/feed/water schedule. Should I give just silica on the water days, or silica/Calmag, or just plain water?
I do cal mag with silica days and feed days and some plain water in between as needed in veg 600 is pretty good in flower you wanna get to over 1000 to 1100 1200 isn’t uncommon but gradually hit the gas pedal huge jumps in ec will burn your babes
Just make sure u check ph prior to dumping and you really dont need to worry about much more …solid dirt …with proper ph nutes … run off not needed to be worried about imo
Thanks again @fano_man
Looking good! Everyone safely settled into new homes.
Is this calcium deficiency? It is only happening on the two 2 Bruce Banners. @PurpNGold74 @MeEasy @fano_man @Sayyes2MI
Looks like it u check your run off
@fano_man I have not checked my runoff PH or EC since transplanting. I will be sure to do that tomorrow when I furigate. Should I be doing that everytime?
If you are in coco, it tends to leech ur calmag. Just add it to ur nutrients now n save urself some trouble.
@PurpNGold74 I have been giving cal-mag but up until recently only 3 ml per gallon. I have increased it to 5 ml per gallon since seeing the spots. Do you think I should increase it more than that?
Nope. Def not in veg.
Also remember you never want to overcompensate and give more then they require.
Another good thing to know is lower leaves sometimes droop into the dirt at lights out. Anything consistently touching dirt is going to yellow and shrivel. No harm done tho.
I am getting a tiny bit of what looks like a “burn” or discoloration on a few of the leaves (photo). Too much of something, light food etc, or too little? Thanks! (First time grower, fwiw)
@fano_man Solid advice! I will keep it at 5ml and hope it improves
What stage (age from seed and veg or flower) and medium are you in?
^^^I can’t take all the credit from purp
@PurpNGold74 has solid advice as well here sf your cred. Back purp lol
Haha thanks Fano. Teamwork right?
Makes the dream work
LIKE A BLANKET! Lmao
Thanks for the quick reply! these were planted into Fox Farm “Ocean Forest” on 12/1, so they are about 6 weeks into their life. Wow! That was a fast six weeks, now that I think about it!
We have this one and one other White Widow under grow lights, light about 20" off of the top of each plant. Just PH water, plus a little of the “Grow Time” mixed in from ILGM. It is only the bigger of the two plants that is getting this discoloration, and just on a couple of leaves, but if it will become a problem, I’d rather get to it before it gets worse.
Two plants in the triangle tent for reference. Thank you!!!
