So, my state recently legalized the cultivation of Marijuana! I got all hyped up and went out and bought my grow equipment. I got 2 Mars Hydro TS3000 for my 8X4 tent. With an AC Infinity 6 in exhaust fan. I added a humidifier and 2 fans to circulate the air. I planted 12 seeds in FFHF after germinating over a month ago and it was a complete failure. They stopped growing a few days after they sprouted and turned yellow . I waited weeks for them to improve, they did not…
So I have sprouted 12 more seeds, and ready to try again. This time I am using Roots Organic Coco-perlite mix with Botanicare nutes. These sprouted 13 days ago. It seems to be going slot better this time! I am growing GG, BB, and GSC from ILGM and Grease Monkey from Exotic Genetics. Any and all advice is much appreciated!
So far they’re looking good, not far from needing a bigger pot. The only thing I can think of for advice is to read everything you can about this wonderful hobby. Good luck
Don’t use any nutes for first month in HF the soil has enough food for atleast two weeks to a month. Good light, fantastic fan. Just learn paitence and learn what you did wrong. It is never a complete failure if you learn from it. Confidence will come in time. Everyone has their own ways to do things. Lots of serious growers here who willingly offer up help when asked so learn to use the @nameofuser in your posts and they will get a notification. Many here. Oh and there are no egos here at all. Feel free to ask away. And have fun, this hobby is really enjoyable once you get your flow.

Are you in 100% coco… even so with coco the reason u water often with coco is because it drys out fast …ultimately u want it to dry out tho…plant eat there nutrients with the last bit of water going up it takes nutes with it more drying periods more eating but it needs dryness to eat… in hydro the dryness comes with the airation it’s a different delivery system but media needs dryness
@Growfire you’re right you never want to allow coco to dry completely. On the other hand you don’t want to keep it like soup. Watering coco daily and even twice daily is pretty common it’s treated very similar to hydro.
There’s damp, moist and wet. Cannabis likes damp at this stage in the life cycle. Coco when dry becomes hydrophilic and if not aware of that can cause problems with plant. When the canopy of the plant matches the pot size you can then water to runoff.
Hopefully you have a good digital PH and TDS meter to go along with using supplements. Depending on your muni water supply you may need to filter it before use.
Keep salt levels moderate when you feed and would suggest adopting a feed/water/feed/water cycle when plants get to that point. Cal mag is necessary in coco with gucci lights.

The over/under watering thing is very common amongst beginner growing. Ull get the feel for ‘just right’ before long.
Another piece of advice… find someone along the lines of what you are doing. Tons of great growers with multiple diff techniques to be found here. Dont try to use em all. Small adjustments are better. That way you dont over compensate… and picking a solid mentor is invaluable. Info overload is GOING TO HAPPEN. get ready to go down many a rabbit hole

He has been helping me a bit, but he doesn’t have much time for me. This forum will prove to be priceless for me with all of the experienced people willing to help
Nothing like hands on education. But there are plenty of great coco growers around. Just peruse the forum a bit. Someone will jump out at you no doubt.
Here is an updated picture of my seedlings 16 days from sprout. The smallest one is 2 days behind. I am pretty happy except the one in the middle on the top row, it looks like something is wrong with it. Any idea what it could be? @PurpNGold74@anon89489555@fano_man@Myfriendis410@MeEasy
When Michigan made it legal under recreational. I jumped on it and started growing. I to went thru ILGM and bought a crap load of different strains. Found this site and never looked back. Lots of great people and information in here. Best of luck in your adventures of growing.
