New grow trying auto flowering

Happy Thursday starting a new grow with auto flowering can’t decide between happy frog or ocean forest any ideas thanks

Both are great soils, ocean forest is a little hotter and more airy.

Do you plan to feed sooner than later?

I would not start them in the ocean forest. Will most likely get nute burn. Start in happy frog then transplant to ocean forest would be my input.

I suggest Happy Frog too. OF is a little hot and autos can be more sensitive to high nute levels.

Plan on feeding sooner after 10 days

FF soils have sufficient nutes for 4 to 6 weeks from your last transplant.

Do you also intend to feed Grow Big and Tiger Bloom? Big Bloom is predominantly micronutrients (iron, copper, boron, manganese,…) and lacks sufficient NPK to sustain a plant.

I do a 50/50 that has worked well. But I wouldn’t use ocean forest at 100% My 50/50 mix runs about 4 weeks before I need to start feeding.

You should be good on nutes for 4 weeks or so with either of them soils. If you use fox farm nutes, use the trio all together. With addition of calmag. Here is a feeding schedule if you need one. Just need to figure out what week you are on when you start you nutes.

I use the ff trio and have it figured out pretty well. Hit me up with any question and I will try and help out.

10 days will be way to soon for either of those soils.

Happy frog would be your best choice if you plan to use the three part fox farms nutrient line.

You are in the right place. Lots of excellent growers here willing to share info. Best of luck to you.
You should post all pics and info in 1 thread so we can follow along and help if needed. Looking foward to your grow. Definately an addicting hobby.

New 60+ yr old auto grower here. Not a soil grower, coco and jacks.

Love autos, not as hard as some say.

Welcome to this great canna family, you have selected a medium that will have lots of experienced growers helping if needed.

Welcome to the forum @Andyscandies

I will definitely be watching! Welcome to the community!!

Happy Friday
Thanks for the help
How do I start a thread? I have no clue
Also would these 3 gallon pots work

The fabric bags work better I feel. I have used plastic too. I think the roots breathe better in the gabric ones.

I have these in 2 and 3 gallon
