New and Overwhelmed

I don’t flush as I’m in living soil.

I’m assuming outdoors. If you haven’t looked up your flowering zone you should do that to get an idea of when she is going to flower. A couple of weeks prior to that you may want to start giving a bit of Potassium and Phosphorus. If going natural you can introduce bat guano: I think it’s fruit bat guano you want for the P and K. Insect bats are more N. A dose of Epsom Salts can increase terpene production too.

What are y’all thinking? When do I need to provide support? What’s the best way to do so? Does anyone have a suggestion for the right kind of bat guano because I couldn’t find it? Any other pointers?

These were from today.

She’s a pretty plant! If it were my girl I would look into doing some training to open up and increase flowering sites on the plant. Look at supercropping if a photoperiod and LST if an autoflower.

@AshRay05

Again she looks really healthy.
Have a few safe suggestions:
1-top it…or FIM will keep it short and add more bud sites
2-start doing LST on the stems that will have buds. will increase the yield by 30%
3-trim some of the smaller leaves/stems at the bottom…they won’t produce anything
4- trim some of huge fan leaves so lower stems and buds will get more sun
5–keep that beautiful horse far away from the plant. I am pretty sure that is drool coming out of
the horses mouth.

If you get high winds…would be a good idea to put one of those plastic coated tomato stick supports and tie loosely to the plant.

Will save you a big heartbreak of finding it has been blown over and got trashed.

@Myfriendis410 Just to clarify photoperiod is like “feminized”?

photoperiod is a plant that unless the lighting schedule is adjusted will never go into flower. Unlike an autoflower which is on a clock.

Feminized is the process by which the seeds are produced: a “mother” plant is stressed with colloidal silver to produce male flowers to self pollinate. As the “father” was a female, all of the seeds will flower. This technique does not produce the strongest plants in general compared to an actual female plant. There is a difference.

You can grab some bamboo plant stakes and put them around the plant then tie each piece to a stake for support and lst rolled into one

@tanlover442 How do I know which stems will and won’t produce? And then how do I tell the difference in the ones that will produce and the fan leaves?

lowest will never produce noticeably. fan leaves grow first.

are you aware of the Free Download of a Growing Book here?

@tanlover442 I had downloaded the grow bible a while ago but couldn’t find anything related to the topic but I went back on the website and found a grow guide that covers it. Cross my fingers I don’t butcher it lol :crossed_fingers:t3:

Here are some updated photos from tonight. I obviously have not found the time to prune yet but hopefully soon! The 30 some odd chickens, horse, donkey, 2 dogs, full time job, and husband seem to keep me busy

Well it’s screaming for attention.

Some mild training and you can really increase yield.

I plan to trim tomorrow. Will try to top the main stem and cut a few fan leaves. But I noticed these white spots. I thought maybe powdery mildew But it doesn’t look like the other pictures I saw. It does not rub off. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

Looks like something just dripped on it. Your plants look happy and healthy! I would maybe suggest pulling the grass away from the base of the plant to get air in there (if you haven’t already) to keep from getting stem rot. Topping looks like a GREAT idea haha.

@Myfriendis410 Oh good. I’ll move it, top it, and have my husband mow tomorrow :+1:t3: Hopefully that’ll help!
