I popped this seed a few days ago. It’s opened up but no tap root. Will it still grow if I plant it?

Wrap it in a moist paper towel and place it in a zip lock bag in a dark cabinet for a day or 2

Grow Bible says max a month for tadpole. Wouldn’t be concerned until a week in at least.
