Now onto your question, your gals look beautiful btw, you said you were 51 days into flower correct? If so that will put you right at the back end of your swell, if it were me I would run her another month then see where your at, maybe time to switch to ph’d water only soon, within next 3 weeks Id guess. As shes still a ways out, the amber I seen was on your sugar leaves ( it don’t count) lol. The rest looked clear starting to turn milky to me. As far as white pistils are concerned, thats genetic dependant, I have a strain that throws 25% white all the way to harvest. Good Luck your getting there just gotta hold them nerves steady till your sure shes ready. ![]()

@Crazy81 @VaHillbilly
Thanks for stopping by and your positive feedback and support, I really appreciate the advice and help.
I was wondering about when it’d be time to lay back on the nutes. I will continue to monitor the trichomes every few days and try to keep her on track with on point ph’d feeds/watering.
Thanks again, wishing ya a blessed evening!
Hey Jiff, I was wondering, you had said you were having nutrient problems and were afraid of locking up. May I ask how often you calibrate your meters? I only ask because once I fought an issue for months only to figure out it was my meter, ![]()
![]()
. So now anytime I try to help anyone I like to ask. ![]()
![]()
To be entirely honest, I have not really calibrated since I got it. This grow I did not check the ph much but fortunately it has not been worse than my first 3 grows lol. I did check it actually tonight and it was at 6.8
I started mixing nutes with calmag first and letting it sit for at least 10ish mins before adding other nutes and mixing really well, letting it sit about a hour, mixing again and then watering, not sure if this is something that I shouldve been doing always or even matters lol.
I think previously I was not mixing well enough and watering too soon after adding nutes to the water.
It may benefit you to calibrate them right quick just to make sure. They will get off a point or 3 on you over time. ![]()
![]()
You could taper down feed they dont eat as much towards the end just focused on ripening at this point so could save some nutes and i always calibrate my meter before each new grow just to be sure its accurate ![]()

@VaHillbilly yeah for sure, ive been a bit lazy but will get to re-calibrating the pen, thank you for the reminder and advice.
@Crazy81 understood, i have at least halved the nutes amount in my last night water. hopefully in the next few weeks, she continues to tighten up and build the trichomes and mature them nicely.
do you guys think using lemon juice (squeezed lemon) drops would be fine to lower the PH instead of PH down? i feel like the ph down/up are not as ‘organic’?
Thanks again, hope everyone has a great day ahead and easy end to the week! ![]()
I’ve only used the bottle stuff so not really sure sorry Couldn’t be more help:grin:![]()
![]()
I’ve used lemon juice b4 but had better results with powdered citric acid. Only a pinch though. Just a little bit goes a long, long way.![]()
Could this slow maturing being for too much nitrogen during flowering? Also I was away from home for a week and had my brother water her once but I think I should’ve asked him to water her twice. When I came home she looked almost dead from lack of water, I watered her right away and she came back to life looking fine a few hours later, could this issue have caused her to slow down in end of flowering?
Today is 12 weeks and 2 days since sprout and about 58 days since flower. A little concerned since it’s an auto and I assumed she might’ve been done by now?
Thanks again and happy Thanksgiving week to all!
Can you give me a zoomed out shot bud?
Hey good evening @VaHillbilly
Yes, thanks for stopping by and taking a look. Here are a few shots of her from now, white pistils ain’t changing lol
She looks completely fine to me and the stage of development she is in right now what we call the maturing or ripening phase usually lasts 3 to 4 weeks and as your buds slow to a stop with swelling you will notice shes not drinking much either. This is her accepting the end in near. She will alot of times try in a last ditch effort to preserve herself for next year do what is known as Rhodelization or self pollination, by literally growing a set. ![]()

couldn’t resist, but seriously they will produce balls and pollen. And make seed, wait what are we talking about again I swear this Blackberry Og of growdocs is some dang fine weed yall. ![]()

hahaha that’s hilarious and thanks for the heads up on what to possibly keep an eye out for. I didn’t realize she can do that lol…
Seriously appreciate you stopping by and following my thread to share your experience and knowledge, thank you very much sir!
I gave her some plain ph’d water yesterday and will continue withholding nutes to flush her in the next weeks. Hoping she comes along nice for the last days before chop.
Wishing you a blessed and terrific upcoming Thanksgiving and have a great rest of your night ![]()
Wondering how everything worked out, they looked like some very nice thick colas.
Good day Dan,
Happy New Year to you and all the best in 2026!!
The last harvest was unfortunately still not as good as my first grow but it’s okay. I did a shite job trimming but they cured alright, unfortunately not as dense, maybe it’s the genetics or my low skill in the flowering stages..
On my 5th and 6th grow now, trying a builldasoil and regular coco grow, may be making it harder for myself lol but enjoying the process. Generally run into some hiccups around now or in the coming weeks after flowering starts lol.
Thanks for reaching out and following up, I appreciate it!! Have a great day sir!
Is a lot of different things you have to do for soil and coco. If your looking for the perfect balance of both soil and coco I would say Promix is the way to go. Can even get it at Walmart
. If your running into problems in flower or just have questions ask away even at people @UnknownJiff as long as the at symbol is in front of the name it will tag that person directly. But as for your plants they look decent, maybe you have your light up too high as in height or the light is not strong enough to produce tighter node spaces on the main stem. Again of you have any questions or concerns just ask and we will find the answer one way or another.
