Need light advice

I gotcha :+1:t2: That one pic looked like a foxtail.

I like the way she looks :metal:

I forgot to add this. The black colored line you are seeing is paracord since the top of the plant is freaking heavy so it’s keeping her standing up straight as possible.

The new lights is making her go into overtime.

@MrPeat - Rspec Sammie’s are the hot thing now! I have a separate far red/photo red led I use

@Poseidon I’m using the HLG 260xl rspec. I was using a single Viparspectra PAR600 Light for my Blue Dream and GSC.

I didn’t understand why my GSC took 3 months to start flowering. So I looked for a recommended site and came here. Under 1 light my GSC grew to almost 60” tall and 39” wide.

Since the recommended height isn’t more than 30”. She is a fem. I got a 2nd Vipar light aka the same one I already had. I went to the 260xl x 2 not long after and glad I did. As my GSC has gone super sonic since I added them.

@MrPeat Nice! I like to run my red separate (Emerson Effect) so I can simulate dusk and dawn.

They only run for 15 minutes each cycle👍🏻

@Poseidon Nice plant. I’m the complete opposite. I don’t use many gadgets. I soaked the seed in plain filtered water. I then transfer said seeds to damp toilet paper as I don’t use paper towels.

I then transfer the seed with a tap root straight to my grow buckets. I use the same light from the seed in the soil to the finish. I pull the plant and put in a closet to dry.

I’m lazy this way but it works for me and may not work for another grower. But I am learning so my grows from here on out will be even better. I love learning new things.

I am in the science and technology behind commercial scale horticulture so Marijuana is a win-win…

Nothing wrong with dropping a magic bean and seeing what happens. You don’t have to go all out. Micro grows/hobby grows are cool

The KISS method

I studied Biochemistry in College and my natural green thumb plus KISS works for me. :joy::joy::joy:

You work in science /chem of commercial Horticulture?

Is this why you have a dawn and dusk light effect? I’ve never heard of anyone doing that personally

Not MJ based and indirectly. I first got involved many moons ago growing Sicilian Tomatoes. I smuggled seeds back from a trip to Catania. I made some of the best sauce…

Anyways, I don’t grow tomatoes any longer :rofl:

If you were to click this button it should prompt some options. If you select copy, then go to wherever you would like to post it should allow you to click and paste.

Exact steps a little different if you use pc than on mobile, but either will work.

301H vs 301B?
I hear H is for Horticulture?

Never heard of em ill check em out

I looked at em not muuch difference except raise effencency .3 but theres heat loss I’m not what the lm301b are stand alone rated at 6500k because those numbers they give at the top of the page 3.03 umol/j at 6500k… the 6500k is such a pointless spectrum u less u plan on 1 function of cloning only for it it has like no greens reds fellows oranges personally u went with 4000k in my build be because I have to I can flower with it still it’s got quite a bit of reds just like the lm301b the lm 301h is the same almost when it comes to color temp and wavelength spikes over 4000 is a specific purpose light

I’m pretty sure 301h is same led with a treatment making phosphor less susceptible to sulfur damage.
