I love my chilled tech but it was 1000 to fill a 4x4 or could use in 5x5. But the other 2 are a little cheaper hlg is great but I think I prefer my plc strip light for more even coverage if you look up pacific lighting concepts there is a video and a build list on his website think it comes out to about 800 for a 4x4 don’t quote me on that tho. Hlg is good I just think you get more even coverage with strips unless you have alot of boards

I’ve used both and hps is equivalent just the heat issue and using more power was the turn point for me but if those aren’t issues for you then I’ve seen some really good stuff grown with both.

Thanks. If I get my next grow space squared away I will need couple of lights. For one I am thinking of a 5 strip PLC spine fixture using TNutz extrusions. Roughly a 24x30 inch light

The chilled tech or similar is what I had in mind. I think those PPFD #'S are enough so I won’t be sorry later. Only issue is I wasn’t planning on adding CO2, so perhaps it’s too much power. I hope to have everything else optimized in my 4x4.

Heat issues are why I was gravitating to a bar style light

The X6 600 at 24" has center PPFD of 1075. As far as I know that is what you are looking for. Right around 1000 and not need C02. The X5 is 1013.

I have a 4x4 tent and running a 3 led lights system. 2 XS1500 VIPARSPECTRA these have 2: Samsung 301 led uv, ir, Meanwell driver and Dimmable.
1: Mars Hydro 600 led plug and play.
These so far are going like crazy on my one plant.
3 weeks out of ground.

Topped yesterday and all ready and started training today.

I’d this after lights on? Looks droopy and new growth is looking hungry for nitrogen. IMHO but you weren’t asking so take it for what it’s worth… Good recovery though.

The FFOF should have enough to pull it thur, I would think.

From what I understand after 4-6 weeks you begin to feed nutes with FFOF I don’t do soil but try to help everyone with questions if I can… @Holmes @MrPeat @dbrn32 maybe can elaborate here.

You’re not wrong in a general sense. But topdress and watering in with organics usually won’t be immediately available for plants either.
