I am looking to start a grow with an Autoflower Purple Punch. On the info page about the plant it says it is compact. Further down it says the plant will get to 5 feet tall. I have a 2.3x2.3x5 foot tent. I can’t grow the plant if it gets to 5 feet.
Has anyone grown the Purple Punch? How tall does it get? I haven’t done a topping but I did lst on the previous grow which was my first grow with GDP.
Time to order seeds but I want to make sure the plant will fit.

Autos very rarely get to 5’, particularly if they are grown indoors. It’s a maximum height, not a common height. You should be fine with one plant in a 2.2x2.3x5.

You could top the plant to stop apical growth but if this is your 1st auto grow look into LST

I checked Barneysfarm - described to be 80cm
Fast Bud says it is a monster autoflower and its size is XXL
I’m not sure if ILGM customer service can clarify its description. I have run into this with ILGM summary versus written descriptions several times.
I have not grown it so can’t say
I always FIM my plants, including autos. Keeps the tops fairly even in height, and keeps them from getting to tall.

If you have enough light and use LST ir supercrop them, by all means you can keep them short like I do.
I only grow short bushes.

Thanks everyone. I plan to start the Purple Punch in mid-January. I need to order the seeds but I will wait until after the Holidays.
My current GDP is 43 inches tall. I did lst on it but after a month, I loosened the tie down and in a week the sucker was almost straight… lesson learned along with tons of others.

Pot size will limit height, I would go with 3 gallon
did do some low stress training but thats it…in 5 gal pot

Appreciate it. I am impressed with it for my first time. That girl was resilient as hell. Had a Nitrogen toxicity and calcium deficiency and still pulled through. About a month out from curing and it smells amazing in the jar. Really lemony, pretty pleasant and smokes good enough for me all things considered. What day was your plant on? Congrats on your plant, buds look thiiick.

she hatched in the first week of september…bout a month to hit flower then to newyears weekend so 3 months roughly

this was round 3 for me doin it pot4pot style…1/3 soil in the bottom coco/perlite with a little soil mixed in in the top 2/3s…hit her with jacks a couple of weeks after she hits flower…dropping my first photo seed today…some ilgm gold leaf
