Need help reading my Trichomes please, GDP and BBK

Wanted to check in with the 'perts @Skydiver @Aussie_autos @oldmarine @Bulldognuts @Borderryan22 and any others that have input for me.

I have not grown in over 35 years…and when I did I never heard of a Trichrome. I hear us newbes are always wanting to pull early. My local grow buddy is pushing me to harvest now. The strain details say 8 weeks on the GDP and 9 weeks on the BBK…but this group has taught me that plants can’t read. I have seen the harvest charts,but not sure how fast things happen.

I am on day 51 since flip to 12/12. The trichomes look mostly cloudy, but do see some amber…how much time do you think I have left? I am good with some couch lock since these are heavy Indica strains…both from ILGM seeds.

BBK - sorry about the white hair. I should never have let the damn cat into the tent early on, now she knows she likes pot leaves and I can’t keep her out. The close up samples were cut from the sides of the buds

GDP - the green spot on the group of buds is where I cut out one of the samples. There are two different samples of GDP since I have more plants

You can harvest if you want more of a couch lock wait a little bit

I would wait another week. Get atleast 5-10% amber. But there cloudy your in the chop “zone”

I’d say your definitely in the window. I would wait a lil longer. But not weeks just a few days. I’m NO Pro so please let other chime in and see what they say. But great job both your plants look great

Thank you for some quick responses I am going to start to flush. I was reading some past threads and they suggested checking the development at the edges of the tent…those earlier pictures were from buds under the light. I have a pretty packed 4 x 4 with 1 BBK and 3 GDP.

Close, I think you could chop anytime. I’d probably go a few more days, but you’re looking good.

Thanks for this. I have seen the chart…but it is kind of like an x-ray…need some experience before you can read correctly. I hope to be a fast learner

I hear ya. I bought a digital microscope and can’t even get a decent picture. I can see it but when I snap a pic I move everything
I need a couch lock so if it were me I’d go straight water for a week. Then go day by day after

I would say ur in that window now but if u want more amber trichomes then i would wait for another week

I liked the idea of showing where you chip off for the trichs picture. By the way what usb microscope did you use it makes nice tight pics.

I just got it yesterday. It works wirelessly with my iPhone, but also has a USB hook up for a PC.
