I’m noticing tiny little black fungus nats in the soil when I move soil around. Whats best way to get rid of these and to control it from happening again. I get I over watered maybe at first and caused it but what will take them away and help prevent it besides sticky traps.
Also growing in fox farm happy frog currently heading into bigger pots very soon and using a mix ocean forest and happy frog with extra perlite mixed

Mosquito bits is what a lot of us use to get rid of fungus gnats. You can use Captain jacks dead bug and sticky traps for the adults. The larvae are in the soil. Let your soil dry out more between waterings. They like wetter soil. They sell this on Amazon. Its the concentrated version of the same stuff as thats in mosquito bits.

Love mosquito bits. Super simple to use and very effective. I used sticky traps for the fliers. Within a week all cleared up. When I corrected my watering routine, I haven’t had an issue since. Happy growing
