Sorry I am a little confused by the feeding schedule # of weeks. It shows grow period 0-3, and then bloom 1-9. For outdoor, in my area Southern Cal. Assuming Bloom starts when days start getting shorter on June 22. So my grow period is longer than 0-3 weeks. Its approx. 11 weeks. So interpreting the schedule, should I be using grow fertilizer from weeks 4-11, then switching to bloom in week 12 for 8 weeks ?

Iâve learned in this forum that for autos, a âgrowing seasonâ really doesnât exist. Autos are on their own schedule . Iâll tag a few of the auto growers see if they can help.

Thanks. I purchase a 20 seed kit (white-widow, non auto flowering) with flower power fertilizers. I germinated 2 weeks ago and they have now sprouted and are 1-2 inch tall. So Iâm just trying to understand the feeding schedule that flower power provided. Its only showing grow at 0-3 weeks. when I think my grow is until June 22.
Just feed then veg nutrients until you see pistols then switch to your bloom nutrents if they are photo period plants nature determines grow veg and flower time not your nutrients

Just extend veg schedule to fit into your grow schedule and switch to flower nutrients when you see first signs of flowering
Schedules are loose for all nutrients and most are set for 12 week grow cycle but with MJ that doesnât always work so yeah you can extend either veg of flower feeding schedule as need

Yes you are correct veg period is your grow and bloom is flower. However when the plant pops from seed it is in seedling stage and doesnât need food until they get 4 to 5 nodes and the two small round feeder leaves will brown and die

Welcome to the forum! Iâm up north of you near Vandenberg Air Force Base.
Something to clarify on outside and flowering; you wonât see any of your plants go into flower until the sunlight falls below 8 hours and DAYLIGHT under 12. June 21 is the longest day of the year and you wonât in all likelihood see a short enough day until August or September.
I would also suggest that you prepare yourself for all kinds of pests: raper butterflies, louper moths, spider mites etc. A good horticulture cloth and a regular de lousing is a good idea.

Iâve heard Spinosad(sp?) is good and BT. I canât remember what that stands for, but @highcountrygal and @SmoknGranny could be of help to you as well. I tend to go with search and destroy, but they can hide really well.

I was totally wiped out two years ago found this and now swear by it! Last summer '17 I did not have a problem with worms. Now this is very important and I think time wise you may be okay, you have to start using it when your plants are about 4-5" tall. Spray the plant everywhere, topside, underside, stalk, stems, leaves, everywhere. Now this HAS to be done on a weekly basis without fail. The worms have to eat it to die but it is not instanteaous it takes a day or so but they do not live long enough to do damage. It can be used up to the day of harvest, it wonât hurt anything, when in bud saturate them with this. That and some inexpensive horticulture screen will do pretty well. I use the BT as well.

Fox farm nutes⌠Many people say start at 1/4 doses. I never have i always start with bottle instructions. I only did a few weeks of fox farm nutes. Then i went back to ph perfect nutes⌠Less hassle for me
