I’m stuck my pens came with little packets I don’t know how to use help
Knowing the product would help. My pH meter came with packets to calibrate them when needed. Mine was ok out of the box. The packets of powder are a joke. They do not dissolve completely and therefore the resulting pH of the solution is in question… My local grow store tested mine and let me know how accurate it is. I am getting a better more reliable and expensive one ASAP… My2Cents
@Lostscuba, I replied on your other thread. So far those packets have been pretty accurate for me. I started having trust issues since it was a cheap pen. In bought a more expensive one and was pretty shocked how accurate the cheapo was

Everyone I’ve had came with calibration directions. If they didn’t look for operation manual download online.

That looks similar to my grey one.
To calibrate hold calibration button until 6.86 blinks
Place in 6.86 solution until it stops blinking.
To calibrate 4.0:
Hold calibration until 6.86 blinks, press calibration again and it should blink 4.0
Place in 4.0 solution until it stops blinking.

That’s not a manual under the packets? If not, there’s clearly an email address there for support.

Yes but it’s easier if some just explain to me I’m a guy that has to learn with my hands from just asking now I don’t need to read 
You don’t think it’s a little selfish to expect members to come help you when you’re not willing to help yourself? I would’ve went and spent the time finding and reading manual for you if you didn’t have one, or had an issue with the directions. But if it’s not valuable enough for your time, it’s sure enough not valuable enough for mine.

That’s different than saying you don’t need to read. Like i said, a simple “I’m having trouble with directions” would go a long way with me.

We are here to help those who help themselves, read read read thats all i have done since i have been on this forum, then you can contribute to others who have questions regarding same.

Just like I said I have hard time and if I can’t understand what they are saying I ask then they tell me in away I can understand i here to learn not to arguing about asking for help

I’m educated WAY beyond my intelligence and read just fine. I found the directions silly and unreliable. Mix powder in distilled water (assume that water has a pH of 7), pour in powder that kinda sort dissolves mostly but not completely, assume those are the correct pH (4,7,10). Put pen in solution 4 press button until flash, then 10, then 7 or something like that. TAA DAA your pH pen is ready for use… C’mon really?? How about buy certified solutions and test the accuracy of the pen?? Seems more logical and accurate to me… My2Cents

thanks I’m not dumb just have hard time with directions and other stuff too so sorry if I seem selfish I will read it don’t need enemy’s I need friends
With my PH pen the company behind it has no problems guiding you through the process of setting up the pen over the phone with them, thats why you should spend the extra and get a decent PH pen and you should expect good support from the company who sells it to the public.
Read the instructions then if you have a problem in a particular area then ask the forum.
I would suggest you get the pre mixed PH solutions.

No one here said or insinuated that at all. Your wording just made it sound like you couldn’t be bothered to read it. No worries man I get it. I have a dyslexic daughter that made it through college but still can only read (and write for that matter) at a 6th grade level. Is what it is brother. “Dyslexics Untie” (Bad dyslexic joke…)
