Need heater help please

@Skydiver This is what I have so far with calculating my amps. Some of the items didn’t have amps ratings but I took the watt rating and divided that by 120 to get the amp ratings. Hope this is the right way to figure it out?

Grow1 inline duct fan 1 amp

Lite Ballast 5 amp
Lesko Heater set 900 watts 7.5 amp
Ushio HiLUX GRO 400 watt HPS Bulb 3.5 amp

Inkbird controller (2) rated at handling 10 amps so not sure there
Vicks Cool Mist Humidifier

Have a Century dual set timer, 2 power strips coming, mytouchsmart timer still to figure out, Cool Mist Humidifier, and 2 small 6 in fans.

So far am up 16 amps. Luckily with the heater and in the desert and these unusual cold temps I won’t have to use it that much

Glad you have a better handle on the electronic needs of your plants…lol

Usually the air circulation fans are low draw around maybe 1/4 to 1/2 an amp. Humidifiers are also low draw maybe 1/2 amp unless you have a larger model similar to a dehumidifier one would use for a house. My dehumidifier draws 7.5 amps and is the size of 2 + cases of beer…or so.
The inkbird controller is a way low draw.

The lights you mention…not sure what the wall plug actual draw is as I’ve learned here that even a 1000w led light may only actually draw from the wall say 300 watts so not sure about those.

The timers and power strips are also negligible in draw…if any at all?

At least you have an idea of what’s what on electric use.

Hope this helps,

HAGD

Not sure either but the home is a little over ten years old and one would think the builder would put something in to cover at least 30 amps seeing how it’s in the garage? But what do I know? Definitely hardly anything when it comes to electricity LOL Thanks again
EDIT: More likely I guess GFCI 15/20 amp is what I am reading
