I need some help I am currently growing my plants indoors in a grow cabinet running my SuperSonics 16 res. They are a little over a week old from being switched to veg state. My problem is that it is getting very cold in my state and the insolation in my house isn’t very good. I am currently fighting trying to keep the grow room warm as well as humidity up. I am running a space heater in the room as well as a cool mist humidifier but between the heat and humidity in that room. I can’t seem to keep it consistent. I also can’t run the space heater while I’m at work in fear of it catching my place on fire while I’m away. The humidity keeps dropping between 30-39% and heat fluctuates between 60-65 while I’m gone. Plants are starting to show signs of stress. Does anybody have any recommendations?
Buy a 300 watt aquarium heater and immerse in a bucket of water.
If you throw in an air pump and an airstone it will boost the humidity a lot without jacking g up the electric much at all. Small air pumps draw very little juice. That with the heat from the heater should straighten you out.
Alright I’ll have to go get those and set it up. If the outside air hits negative digits will I just have to turn the heat up higher?
