I was wondering if I can still scrog theses two plants and still keep growing the mother plant.

Yes. I’ve personally done it. Search for the thread, " 2’ plant SCROG "

Here is my girl’s that I’m going to scrog. As you can see the mother plant
is ready to start flowering. Should get a lot of bud’s from this one.

Looks awesome @Rdg1951, great job! You’re going to love the outcome, and you’ll also get a hands on learning experience in SCROG and experimenting on plants. I love to experiment!
