Update week one flower
Starting to show pistols on most and the smell is coming through
Last night before they went to sleep I fed them imo,fpj,ffa,ffj, lab, 1.1.1.1.shellfish mix with Epsom salt and sprayed the ladies down

Here’s an update on the bed!
During the beginning of the cycle I will give feeds and ferments to the plants after about a week of flower from here on out I only use well water with some lab . Still use my ferments for foliars but I want the plant to build a relationship with the soil and not rely on any out side nutrients
Also got our 8th pupper. His name is blaze
Thinking about doing a soil tek with how I harvest and rotate with my bed out side . I’ll start a new bed in the woods an show you all the process on how I harvest microbes and mycelium. Let me know !

Here is the IMO growing in my raised bed. Covered cardboard and maple bark/skins with native leaves.
I had to move the pot over for the last shot.

Also just hit the worm jack pot about to fill a few jars of this stuff. Comes from a clay bases environment so this will be super rich in minerals perfect for the rest of flowering

My neighbors think I am crazy. I go down hill to the end of the street and all the maple and oak and cottonwood and alder leaves that pile up there. I load them into my raised beds about waist high. You know, as they are raking them and dumping them there for the city to pick up.
Once you get the mycelium going, it only takes about 6 weeks for it to rot down to nothing. If you don’t get the IMO or hit it with some mycoboost, those leaves will still be there in the spring.
The main reason I have switched to IMO is it works as good as recharge or great white. Only it is free. And mycoboost products are probably the most expensive thing at the grow shop besides lights and pumps. In my humble opinion anyway….

I have found that if you add leaves the worms will always come. It’s their crack. Like if you build it they will come (movie quote). Between my 2 tumblers and the raised beds I find perennial populations of night crawlers and red wigglers.

Just hauled in all this mycelium!! What I do now is mix it with hard wood coals let it sit for awhile and activate the biochar !!

I totally agree! I still use imo that I harvest from rice boxes , ferment it then bubble for like 12 hours. I use the mycelium to activate biochar cause it has stronger enzymes to break through cellulose. This is just one of the things I do for my soil. Gotta have them microbial an fungal networks balanced. I’m sure you know this you are good at what you do an your plants look great!

Also what ever sticks and stuff I grab I make sure it crumble ls in my hand or pulls about like regular compost I go for the stuff that’s been broken down . Takes way longer to collect it but it’s worth it! Back there in just staring at the ground and picking threw sticks at least that what it would look like to someone who has no clue what I’m doing lol

Do you use a BioChar furnace to make your char or do you just use the leftover coals? I ask because I’m wanting to build a small, personal run, furnace.

I live on a farm and we have been clearing trees to make room for the horses, so we have been burning a lot of the wood we wait use to build our stables. I just pick my char from out of that pile .

Okay every one week 2 flower going in to 3rd week !!
Been growing like crazy! Had to cut out a small plant that was getting his ass kicked by the other plants. Might have to take out 2 more . I was in hopes to find 4 females out of the nine I planted but they all ended up being female. Good problems to have and I’ve never had 100% success rate when popping seeds so this is a first lol . I haven’t watered since last week the beds are holding a lot of water cause I soaked my biochar and in lab for 3 days. They are getting a drink today and an up prune
Well water mixed with lab and fpj for the feed . Was thinking about giving it some fermented fish juice but they are looking super healthy and growing really nice so I’m gonna hold off on that don’t want to give it to much I just want it to pull its nutrients from symbiosis
