My worrying again!

@BobbyDigital ,@Covertgrower So I just realized from a very slight glow, right before bed that this little tiny light on my CO2 monitor was on for the last 3 hours and 15 minutes of the girls dark cycle, they are autos and I know I shouldn’t have an issue with them, BUT I did have one change to male on me when I switched from veg to flower, I’m not 100% positive what caused the switch, but I can only think that it was the few light problems I had earlier on caused it to stress too much ultimately causing the transformation of gender, anyways so ANY time I have a little issue like this, I just like to ask the community for reassurance that my babies will be ok:grimacing::grimacing::crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers::pray::pray:

You should be good as long no interruption and changes , need to understand that plants grow outside in the Wilderness gotta have alil trust in them , as long you provide a good envoy they will hold their own

@Randy_Marsh Yeah they’ve got a great environment, just got the HLG today hooked it up, and I swear in a matter of hours I noticed a difference, that little tiny yellowish light was only on for a few hours, it wasn’t very bright in there at all, in fact the only reason I even noticed it was because of the light change today I’ve had a little bit of a time getting temps and humidity back to stable, so I finally got it for day time, and knew I’d have to make some adjustments tonight, so when I went in to shut off my humidifier, is when I noticed the slight glow that little light put off and immediately panicked and thought to ask ILGM, I would say if it was a consistent thing it may cause problems but I usually make sure to just unplug that thing before I go to bed and because that I just put it back in there last night for the first time in awhile.

Your set with you hlg

Autos are very resistant to light leak so you should be safe my grow closet has tons of light leak(even my humidifier in my grow closet glows)and out of the 6 strains ive growth not 1 has stress hermied

I took mine apart covered the build inside it with black tape and put it back together

Or just place tape over the surface if it fixes the issue

Just throw a piece of electrical tape over it. All my device lights are covered in it. See the inkbird controller and power strip. And the backup battery on the bottom right

@BobbyDigital, yeah it figures the SINGLE ONLY PIECE I have NOT put tape over the stupid light, as I said I just started using that thing last night again, so it literally just happened ONCE, I know deep inside my girls are prolly fine, but because of past trauma:joy::rofl:, I just worry when shit does happen, and to hear the way more experienced growers say my girls are gonna be ok, is GRATIFYING!!! AND gives me a sense of relief, the stress of growing marijuana for a PERSON LIKE ME, is overwhelming at times.:joy:

Also I believe that 420fastbuds fem/autos are a VERY week strain, and will NEVER buy that strain again, after doing a little research about it, I’ve found several ppl have complaints of them turning Herm, buy mine didn’t turn Herm mine went FULL BLOWN MALE, so yeah I DO NOT recommend that strain, I simply got that one, cuz it’s what my girl wanted, and told her don’t EVER ask for that one again, ok so.i.had to dig for the pics if my plant turned male, and could barely see the thumbnail photo to select for this post,so I hope these are the right pics,if not I’ll find em and fix it

Well after re looking at these pics I’m noticing that those do look more like nanners than seed sacks, so maybe I’m wrong maybe it was a Herm, why don’t you guys tell me, this stuff is all new to me!!

Collect pollen

Separate from others or f it let them seed and you’ll have more to grow with later…maybe just pollenate a m and f auto

If those are autos they must be reg autos. I never have my autos in complete dark and never have a problem with them. Their dark consists of no lights on or around but its never perdect dark like the photos get. Hell i took the bathroom door off where i grow the autos. Ive never had a herm auto atvall and ive grown out a good 12 to 15 autos already now

The nanners are what’s inside of those pollen sacs. This is what those sacs look like when they open

@Mark0427 yeah that’s why I’m confused as to why a spent $200 on seeds from 420fastbuds and they were ALL fem/auto, and I was under the impression that you couldn’t really mess up with autos, I did have some power outages earlier on, and because of me trying to hide the fact that I growing weed from my neighbors has caused me to have to CONSTANTLY monitor my tents, moving stuff, and such, so there’s SEVERAL reasons that plant could’ve gotten stressed enough to herm on me, I’m starting to wonder if it was even a light issue all, the month it’s been since that happened I’ve learned TONS about plant stresses, so yeah it hasn’t happened since, it was ONE plant and it’s been gone for awhile now, just asked about the light on my CO2 monitor potentially causing the same thing, but the consensus is MY BABIES ARE GONNA BE OK!!! THANKS BUD!!!

Autos aren’t reliant of lighting schedule. They have internal clock that rules their flower. Like others have said, I have mine in a walk-in closet off my bathroom. I just don’t worry about light pollution.

@TEGRITY @BobbyDigital @Randy_Marsh, yeah well I have a different type of stress just given to her, I had a damn 6 inch fan fall on to my crystal meth plant, and broke 1 branch off and I had to tape the 2nd branch it hit, I swear if it’s not one thing or the other and it’s got me stressed to the MAX!! Now I’m worried about what the stress of the fan falling on her will do:grimacing::grimacing:, I will tell you I just spent an hour and half checking ALL light sources, and then DOUBLE securing all equipment suspended over the plants, so I don’t continue to run into these problems, so I’m 100% certain that no lights will go on in dark cycle and nothing else false on em, anymore, so I taped her arm up and now just :crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:!!

That male plant you had was going to be male no matter what. No amount of stress changes a plant to a full blown male. It was born that way.

Yeah first thing I do is tape over any leds or lights on new tent equipment, should not affect autos though.

@Hellraiser @BobbyDigital, so do I need to worry about the broken branches other than the loss on my final yield, from the one that snapped all the way off? It was a little one, I honestly could afford that branch over all else, and the one I had to tape is a nice good healthy big one, but it didn’t even break the skin layer, it just bent the shit out of it and scratched is some, so I threw a little medical fabric tape, just to hold it upward towards the center, so it’s not dangling
