My very first ever growing. Is it ready for harvest?

i wouldnt add nutes if youve started flushing. just continue with normal watering and don’t worry you didnt ruin it only thing is that they could have had some more feeds imo.

they look great, maybe do a stem split or if you want water in unsulphered blackstrap mollasses.- not necessary though

what magnification is your loupe? i have a 30x and im in a similar situation where its hard to tell if cloudy or not

@amosmoses, thank you!
As @tanlover442 and @PurpNGold74 explained before, I did drill the stem (split) and stick flat wood in. But these plants’ leaves are still green and healthy. It seems I can’t stress the plants. No sign of wilting at all.

I only have 8x lens. I need to buy one… (can you recommend good one to buy?)
Visually, it is getting cloudy…

Im not yet to my harvest n lookin for loupes too. Yes just keep her well watered. How are her leaves looking? Can u share a full plant shot?

apparently loupes with lights are great, but i settled for one that i can put on my keychain (to show off how cool i am ). id get at least a 50x, check on amazon…

Here are the photos of full plant.

Yea you should be safe man. You ser how all your leaves are green and no noticeable deficiencies? She’s humming along. When she approaches the end normally the flush allows them to cannabalize her leaves and they begin to lose their green.

I found one from Amazon, 60x mag lens for smart phone.
I am thinking about ordering it. What you guys think?

Thank you! I feel much better now. :relieved:
but waiting is killing me…

like this…

I split over 40 autoflowers. This is the process i have personally seen the best results with. I split 7 days before harvest then at the 96hr (after split) i drop em in the dark for 72 hrs. (7day total) I have tried differnt combinations of times and for my growing situation this has proven to show me the best results. I even split one plant twice this last grow (one week apart) theres a topic on hear showing it. It didnt noticeably improve anything btw (the double split). Best of luck. I always encourage people to do as much reaserch on subjects like this and then decide if it will work for your grow.

This looks good. I am also looking for attachable lens for the smartphone, so that I can take photos.
I think I will order this one and search more for the phone lens.
Thanks for the link…

when do you stop watering?

have you tried cold water?

This plugs into the computer, then you can do screen-caps once you get the right angle.

In answer to your timing question, from what I’ve read the stem-splitting is 7-10 days before you ‘think’ you should harvest (THAT’s the touchy part). You’re pretty much committed once you do.

As to the watering, I believe you keep your regular schedule until right at the end (like skipping the last watering - 3-4 days before harvest)), but you flush and stop nutes a week or two before harvest. This one is not as critical (in my opinion) because they are still being watered, and there are residual nutes in the soil for them to get if they need it.

Darkness for the last 48-72 hours is optional, but a lot of people do it. I only did about 36, basically skipping one 12hr light cycle and having 3 darks in a row.

Do you own this? The review on this item isn’t good, but mostly, they are complaining about the stand. Recently, I bought 2 of jeweler’s loupe and it shows trichome pretty well, but it doesn’t have capability to bring the image to PC or cell phone. So, I was looking for magnifier lens or something like this, so that I can open the image from PC/smart phone.

I own one, and yes it is cheap. The stand seems fine, but people with a dexterity problem might have issues. Just a wing-nut holding it together. I also could not make the “picture” or “snapshot” function work on the software that came with it. But the microscope functions well. If I had it to do over, I would get this style, but a better brand.

Pro’s over the handheld (and I own both - love gadgets) is that it is stationary, and you can make little adjustments to get a perfect image - then screen-capture it with your computer. Here’s a samplepgo4

So the handheld is best for YOU (spot-checking everywhere), the computer one is best for US (to see cool pictures)
LOL

You can put a jewellers loope up to your camera on your phone and still get some really good close ups

not a pic of the trichs but you get the idea :+1:
