It’s nice to see a welcome critter on occasion. We’ve seen growers who buy lady bugs to help with unwanted critters. You can buy eggs for either from Amazon.

I seen them often on outdoor plants back in the day. The things seem to always be on a branch 3 inches from my head before I would see them. Freaked me out then and now. I tell ya those things are friggin Aliens.

I’ve ordered both and it’s really cool to watch the mantises come out of their egg!!! The ladybugs tend to hang out in the garden but the mantises haul butt somewhere else

Works great the only bug I’ve had hit me hard was these lil suckers… Mexican bean bug. They killed half my pumpkin, acorn squash and butter nut squash 
Have you tried putting diatomaceous earth at the bottom of them for the caterpillar problem?

Wow that’s a mean lookin critter…Ive never seen one of those!! 
I do use DE but admittedly I don’t re spread it after I water…I really have to do something though…The Lady Bugs and Mantises would be good but since Im outdoors I wonder how long they`d stick around! They messed up a few already and I had to cut em down a little earlier then I planned…
