I haven’t been active lately (health stuff) but I’ve been a-growing… thinking I’ve done ok so far …but… Now not sure how to proceed. She’s 80 days old & been in flower 7 weeks… things are changing very fast! Red hairs, Resin, Trichomes galore… and lots of colas (i topped once). WW is ‘auto’ in DWC. I’ve been feeding GH week #10(late bloom) . only options I see are continue with wk10 feed schedule or change to 11-ripening (no nutes). White Widow Full Pic

Hard to say…pistils still look pretty white, but in the one photo third from the bottom it looks like there is some amber. It’s very hard to tell without more magnification though. Do you have something to look at your trichomes magnified 30x or more? A jewler’s loupe or small microscope? The trichomes are the best indication of when the plant is ready. Too early and you’re shorting yourself. Too late and you’re getting sleep meds. All that said, they’re definitely close, and looking good, too! Good work

Glad to hear from you. They definitely need more time. The buds haven’t fattened up yet. Believe me everything explodes on widow plants in flower. Give them more time as an example I harvested my widows with buds this pretty and she was still an early harvest.
Hi elheffe, Thanks for taking a look & also for the compliments! I do have a large magnifier w/ led lights + a 100x jewelers loupe & using a ‘magnifier camera app’… still it’s hard to capture what I see in real time (lots more red hair than shows) I check the trichomes daily… some amber is there but sparse… doesn’t look close to pic @garrigan62 posted. So still some time to go!
Thanks so much for posting this pic for me…now I see what to look for. In real time, there’s ‘some’ amber and a lot more red hairs …it’s hard getting pics to show it…seems like shooting under lights w/ a flash shows a little better.
And @Viktor7 showed me pics of a WW he harvested too early… they look similar to where mine is right now. I’m continuing her on GH week 10 (late bloom) schedule until the right time comes to flush. I’ve come to far to mess up now (my 1st grow) and so appreciate your input.

I want to thank you so much for sharing your wisdom with me… I don’t ask questions often but am at a new level in the grow (my 1st)… seeing your pics of harvesting too early shows me my widow is quite like those pics at this point. I’m finding not only WW but my GG#4 (both auto’s) explode and change fast at will!! … they drive me crazy LOL but this experience is awesome!
