Your plants are looking good and happy my brother :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :v: :tumbler_glass:

That they are…I will just be happy when the first two are done and I get to see what kind of yield I get from it. I know I am not going to get a pound of weed per plant, but I will be very upset if I spend 4-5 months on them and only get an ounce or two.

Hey question for anyone who wants to answer. Up until now I have used cheap LED lights, I was thinking about getting some good LED lights for both my 2 foot wide and 4 foot wide tents what should I get. What I have now are good for all stages of growth just very low wattage. I was told that higher wattage gives better results.

If it were me, I would go with the HLG lights. I just put 3 260xkl rspec lights in my 5x5 and I am happy as f**k with them and so are my plants. Definitely worth the investment in my opinion. :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :v:

I have been looking at HLG`s web site they have some nice lights but the price I got for the hlg 260xkl is a bit more then I want to spend. But the hlg 100 V2 4000k caught my eye and $149 each is easier on my wallet or $139 for the 3000k model. What are your thoughts on this light. I was thinking get 2 for my big tent so I have one over each plant and remove the other lights in that tent and maybe get a third for the smaller tent but then again I don’t plan on keeping plants in that tent for too long just using it as a starter tent before moving them into the bigger tent. So maybe just take all the lights I would be removing from the big tent and shoehorning them into the small tent.

It depends on your grow space my brother. HLG will give you the coverage in veg and flower that they are capable of. The 260xl is well worth the cash. They are the only ones I have any experience with and I can say, they made my plants happy, happy, happy and have made me stoned, stoned, waisted. Bet you thought I was going to say stoned again, like I always am :v:

lol to funny…don’t get me wrong I am sure the 260 is worth the money, but dang that’s a lot of money and now I have been looking at there web site more I have seen some other options so I am fixing to buy some lights from them just not sure which lights just yet. I tend to be very budget minded, more so then I should. So I want to get the best bang for my buck.

Gotcha :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :v:

Would a 600 watt board be good for me or a 1000 watt?

Well just bought a pair of HLG 100 V2 3000k lights @ $134.10 each. Even includes 2 pair of hatchet hangers and a pair of timers.

Those will make ur 2x2 rock. :+1::grin::v:

Well I was planning to put them in my 4x2 tent. Each one has a veg area of 3x3 and flower area of 2x2. So I would have one light over each plant. Now for the 2x2 tent, I am still thinking that over…maybe get another HLG 100 V2 3000k for that tent or just take the 4 foot LED light that I am removing from the 4x2 tent and remove the four LED strips from the reflector and run them vertically in the corners of the 2x2x4 tent. Hate to see a good LED go to waste. Or I could just try to resell it.

End of week three of flowering, start of week four both plants are looking great. The plant on the right is going crazy on bud formation where as the plant on the left has put more into branch growth but is making buds.

The two new plants I have are also doing well. Have my two new HLG 100 V2 3000k lights coming in tomorrow, so I will be redoing the lighting in my tents in the next few days. Question since the two plants in my main tent are this far along would it be harmful to them by adding the new lights now to them or should I just use them on the two new plants? I am concerned I might light burn them if I add them now. Also I have been reading on the web that adding molasses in with the water I give my plants will help make bigger buds because it feeds the micro organisms in the soil which in turn give extra nutrients to the plants, is there any truth to that? Last question what is a good digital microscope for me to use on my android phone to take bud pics for me to post so I can have you folks who know better then me as when to begin to flush and cut down?

For a 2x4 tent the HLG 260xl Rspec is perfect. You would only need 1 kit. I use 2 in my 4x4 kit. The lights is the most important thing you will buy for growing. Trying to go cheap will hurt every single crop.

Got two 100 V2 3000k lights coming in has a grow area of 3x3 and a flower area of 2x2 which is all I need for a 2x4 tent.

Your plants are looking awesome mybrother :+1: :tumbler_glass: :v:

Coming to the end of week four of flowering Got my new HLG 100 V2 3000K lights set up a few days ago and I must say they are bright. Both plants are doing good, bud formation is coming along nicely. Even have sugar leaves forming.

Just re-potted the two new plants was not happy with the starter soil I was using both plants are showing lack of nitrogen, so I used the same soil as the first two plants when re-potting and hit them both with a dose of fertilizer. Also I took the old four foot LED light I was using in my main tent and striped out the four LED strips and mounted them in my smaller tent, one in each corner of the tent.

Just about at the end of week 5 of flowering, all is well with both plants. Looking at about four more weeks and both should be ready for cut down. I tried to get some close ups of the buds but I need to get a digital microscope the zoom on my phone can only do so much. I do have one question if anyone could answer for me. So far all the buds are popcorn nugget size, can I expect anymore growth from them in the last few weeks? Being that is my first grow I knew not to expect the biggest, baddest buds in town, and I know I made my fair share of first time growing mistakes that might have affected the end result. That was one of the big reasons I picked this strain to start with…at $79 for a 5 pack of seeds they where the cheapest seeds to learn from then getting a more expensive strain and messing them up.

Now for the next pair I am growing they are doing betting after getting nutes for the nitrogen issue. Besides that they are both doing well, much better then my first two at this stage. They are at 3 weeks into growth stage.
