I like to think I am. Right now I am just doing my homework on fertilizer, finding a few things I am kinda unsure about hence why I bought Fox Farm fertilizer to take some of the guess work out of it my first time around.

Its been a few days since my last posting so here is my latest update…
I will start with my plant on the left in the tent. She started out as the runt, but has grow with a purpose. She is looking very well the lst is helping with the flowering growth spurt. I also just got in a few days ago Fox Farms 3 pack fertilizer and have just started to use it on both my plants.
Now for the plant on the right…
Up until now she has been doing just fine, she doesn’t need as much water then the other plant by about a third. But last night as I was looking both plants over I noticed something on this plant that caught my attention. In the undergrowth there is a new growth stem that is showing a issue I am not sure about. I took some pics of the issue and I hope its nothing but maybe someone knows whats going on. Here is the plant in general if you look in the center you can see some off coloring.

As you can see the leaves on this stem and only on this steam are looking two-toned in color, light green to dark green and semi wilted. I am not sure if this is normal or its the start of a problem. Anyone know with I got here?

I have the same thing on my plant. Shaded new growth that’s kinda crowded.

Looks like new growth it’ll darken in green in a week or two.
@Oldguy variegated leaves I have is a very light green almost yellow on half the leaf. Split right on that vein. I should take a picture to share. It was exclusively on my ILGM Super Lemon Haze.

I have never seen this type of new growth on either plant until now so being the new grower that I am I started to get worried. I will keep an eye on this and update this thread in a few days. @Oldguy thanks again for the assist.

Just means you have everything dialed in, and the plant loves it! I have the same thing going on in my veg tent currently. Take a look at my recent journal entry if you’d like. @darkillusion3526

Update from the pics I posted yesterday, the two-toned color is full green now and the other leafs are looking good. Just me being a noob grower getting worrying over nothing. Thanks again to @Covertgrower @Myfriendis410 and @Oldguy for your input. I did however pull out the stakes I was using for the lst, the stems are staying down on there own, and I am starting to have issues with a 2 foot wide tent…the branches I was staking down are now growing into the sides of my tent but that I can deal with. Also, I was thinking about maybe starting another round of plants using my 2 x 2 x 4 tent as a veg tent and moving them over to the bigger tent after this round of plants are done. At first I didn’t want to run two tents at my place but ilgm over guarantees there seeds for 1 year as long as you follow there instructions on seed storage. But at the rate plants grow I might have a dud seed or two by the time I get to them…guess I need to look for a new light setup for my old tent.

Time for another update and pics. Both plants are looking and doing great they have been in flowering for 2 weeks now they are from top to bottom 14 inches tall and bud sites are starting to form. Also I just started another two plants this week and there are now starting to break the surface of the soil will post pics of them in the next few days.

You an also remove lower branches that will only make crappy useless buds anyway.
It was dropping because I slightly overwatered it. Lol I ended up getting a deficiency because I overwatered. In an attempt to fix it I I over fertilized! I have never used promix before so its all new to me. At the beginning I thought I should be watering at 5.8 but it turns out 6.2 seems better? I think I have my plants happy since I flushed them and transplated. I also reduced watering.
I was planning on doing that just didn’t want to cut off to much too fast and damage the plants.

Just finished removing some lower branches/leafs, didn’t go to crazy. Bud formation on my right side plant is looking good, left side is looking a little behind but I am sure it will catch up.
Also before I forget… I said the other day I started another batch of amnesia haze plants and I would post pics so here they are.
