I topped at the 6th set of true leaves, not counting the single finger leaves. I think my scrog was set about 14" to 16" from the base of the plant. You have more height available than I do so you may want to set a little higher. My scrog worked very well but the downside was I couldn’t move my plants around. This time I topped and lst’ed my plants. My yield might be a little lower but I had the flexibility to pull them out to work on them.

I would recommend you get into hid or some decent leds for flowering, absolutely. That’s a good light to start your grow with though.

Yes. This grow I pulled the branches down and tied them to the sides of my pots with pipe cleaners. When your plants are young, their stems are really flexible and train easily.

Your first set are round “feeder” leaves that don’t look like typical cannabis leaves. The next set usually look like typical leaves but only 1 finger. The next set are generally 3 fingers. I count those as the first set of true leaves.

600-1000 watt hps or true equivalent would be pretty standard lighting for that.

For tying:
A garden center or hardware store will have plastic coated wire in rolls so you can cut to length.
Remember to loop loosely around your Lady as she will grow up and out.

Not in a tent that big if it’s full. You could use the 85 watt cfl likely for starting seeds and first couple weeks.
There’s a lot of lights that will flower a grow that size. Depends on what you want and what you have to spend.

@Grubby…suggest you checkout the beginner strains section. A fem’d plant would save much effort. An auto will also make your grow simpler and faster. It’s very gratifying when a first grow makes you proud. Save the fancy stuff until you have more experience.

Money is tight lol but I can’t suss that out. Just trying to get a good yeild but I want high quality. I’m not messing with the plant In the way of trichomes and shit. Just gunna let her do her own thing and maybe train her a bit along the way.
