Look good and rolling steady growth well done

@repins12. I’ll usually leave the dome on for a couple weeks or till they get too big for it. ( leaves touching dome ).
But too my humidity runs in the high
30s range.
I’d leave the dome on the unpopped one. It’s going to need that extra humidity to help it along. :+1::v:

Are you soaking your seeds before dropping them? I only used a dome for one day because my humidifier took a crap, I got another one so I took my domes off and keep my humidity at around 70-90%. Have not had a problem with the shell sticking on them, only a thin membrane that drys out and falls off.

That’s crazy, I have never had that problem. I hope you did I will keep my fingers crossed for you as well.

I’ve had to do on 2 of the ones that just broke ground last week and it worked, I’ll have to watch it in future maybe it has to do with strain mine were seeds out of my China cabinet and my silver haze was fine :laughing::laughing:

In your setup of new soil, just tap water and supplement cal/mag every other feeding. I’ve found some spotting on some plants not all using this method. They should only need water until just about flower switch

As for Ec… I’m going to need someone to covert but isn’t 1ec=500tds?

Ph at 6.5-6.7 maybe a little higher is good. Soil can be on the higher end of the 6’s. Ph water after you put everything (nutrients/supplements) into it

At 6.3 your just clearing the threshold for them to take up the cal/mag your using

My setup is more like
Solo cup of fflw then half and half layered
Ffhf
Ffof

I wish I could make it look like that picture but I’m seriously not that fancy about it

Personally, I don’t bother with layering the soil, I start in solo cups with seedling potting soil, then to 1 gallon pots with FFOF, then to 10 gallon pots with FFOF. I do add 20% each of worm casting and perlite to the FFOF.

I am sure that there are good reasons to layer but I have never had an issue with just FFOF so have had no reason to change.

As for pH, I ALWAYS adjust to 6.5. I don’t really monitor tds (EC) unless I start seeing issues develop.

Edit: I actually adjust to 6.8 pH late in flower, 5th week of flower and beyond.

Don’t forget, all pH adjustments should be done after all of your nutrients have been added (for a feeding day). Even on water only days, I add Epsom salts. The Epsom salts have a minimal effect on pH but it does have a small effect.

I don’t know the answer…it likely depends upon your water and soil.

Don’t use Cal-Mag at the same time as Epsom salts. I seldom need Cal-Mag because my water contains plenty of calcium. If I had lower calcium levels in my tap water I would use Cal-Mag as recommended and only use the Epsom salts on days when I don’t use Cal-Mag.

Until I flip them, I don’t feed them at all. Just Epsom salts.

I feed every other watering starting on week two of flowering. By week three of flowering they are needing to be watered every day.
