My First Grow Journal

And should I just use phd water to flush out what I used previously so when I do introduce the new balanced water it will get rid of what i Gabe it last night? So like in a week I can reintroduce the correct water for its first week. Or when I water again just use this nute concoction?

I use pH’d corrected water with their nutes and read the runoff…I try not to be dogmatic about the exact specifications as everyone seems to now best.

Bergman and Cervantes advice for me ! :volcano:

Yeah man. I’ve watched Cervantes for a while now. I got really big into him back when I dabbled in mycology. Always good absorbable info. Bergman I am unfamiliar with. However I recall his name from the Gold Leafs you mentioned. Are these the same ones sold here? I will probably run to My local bookstore to see if they carry anymore books on the matter.

Bergman …Robert Bergman…this is his website and Guides LMAO

Oh lmao  yeah I kinda just hopped in here with no introductions. Sorry Bergman! (If he sees this). Well now I know. I’ll proceed to give myself one slight tap on the back of the hand. Here’s to success. I guess Bergmans taught me more then I realized.

Also here they are today. I noticed their a little bright is this just new growth or did I burn them with the water I fed. Also one is kind of leaning are they okay and I’m just worrying to much? I went ahead and domed them up for now. Was about to water them again. I don’t thinks it is time though and don’t want to over water.

stop fretting about your gals, let the amaze you :star_struck:

No doubt. My CoCo is starting to dry out since I ran the water through them like two days ago? I can’t remember this whole week since I started is a blur lol. Should I add a little bit of that nute water (Start/Rhizo)? Around the stem to help the roots search? Should I just stick to misting/doming at this point. Or would a feed be okay at this stage? I’m not so worried about when it grows how to water it I’m just concerned at this stage because their so delicate and sub appears dry. Plus I don’t want to burn and kill them. Lol

Y
You sure are growing a bunch of pot, is this your 1st time at growing ?

Misting/doming is favourite…nute water could do bad things at this early point.

Have a 24 hour holiday from each other and you will notice the growth. … :parasol_on_ground:

Yeah first time with cannabis. I’ve had a couple of successful mushroom harvests previously. Was on shroomery a lot and was going to go to growery or whatever there cannabis forum is but it seems stagnant since I was active. But that was a couple years ago. Focusing my energy to this beautiful plant now. ILGM seemed like the place to be forum wise so I hopped on. Yeah I realize I may have gone overboard with the seeds lmao. But we’ll be good for the future! By the way Nebraska just passed for the bill to be voted on in November for Medical. So we’re getting there hopefully. Fingers crossed. Misted again this morning. Turned my schedule to 24 to 20-4. But I think my timer messed up lol but I have a backup one. During that dark period I noticed temps at 80 degrees and RH at 88. No exhaust going here. Should I switch the exhaust to 247 and light at 20-4? Also I noticed the dome being real dry when I check on them. They are a big pudding cup. Should I cut a 2l in half and use this? Is this my plant absorbing the water? Am I worrying about nothing?

I only grow by natural light so I cannot offer any info about artifical lights.
Please send picture of dome, if its dry it means everything is dry, bummer.
I would dribble water around the base of the plant…just a little as it sounds like the misting is not providing enough water

Gotcha here’s a picture of the dome I’ll go ahead and add some water

Should I just start introducing water daily? When I did it the first time it didn’t seem to stunt it or anything. Idk I’m super concerned it is way too dry in there. Plus it could definitely use more water in there as the coco is pretty much dried out completely

i Watered quite a bit. With the nute water. Not enough for runn off but enough around the sides and stuff. If they pull through I’ll be adding a watering and feed in the next couple days. Also I’m using smart pots as well. People say u can’t really over water but idk. Hopefully all is well.

I seen this Cogr line at hydro shop. One thing I noticed was this

Could be something that is popular with hydro growers

I think it’s supposed to be used inline with the Cogr bricks which turns into a substrate from what I gathered. My store didn’t have any on hand so I just returned the Cogr line altogether. Went with Canna Coco A&B along with the others that go with it. There was a lot to the Cogr for a newbie. I did notice my Rhizotonic is expired and when I add it to my water it does not increase PPMs at all. Is that because it is expired or is that normal?

It will buffer coco just the same. Most of us use something like calmag or calcium nitrate.

I have a bottle of General Organic CalMag. Will this be okay with the Canna line? Also I will probably get the buffer agent for my next go.

Should be fine.

Could you chime in on my PPMs staying the same with Rhizotonic?
