They’re up and out and growing!

Looks good. I don’t like those peat pods. I’ve seen a lot of stunted seedlings in them, so hopefully you don’t run into that problem.

When I transplanted them into the five gallon grow bags, I cut the outside liner off of them and just transplanted the peatt soil and the seedling into the grow bags.

Nor do I. They retain water too well. Soil that is constantly wet is about the worst thing you can do to a seedling.

Seedlings only need a couple ml of water per day. Roots need oxygen. All a seedling has is a tap root and it cannot extract oxygen from the soil if it is constantly wet.

Be sure to give your plant’s soil wet/dry cycles. It’s important for good root health and cannabis tolerates dry soil far better than wet soil. Water and then let the soil dry out before watering again.

Photo journal of how my grow has gone:

She’s currently been growing in leaps and bounds and is ending her second week of pre-flower. I’ve been guided and mentored by @Aussie_autos and cannot thank him enough for his insight and encouragement! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I can’t wait to see what she produces at harvest!

Picture update from this morning:

I’m struggling with high humidity level now and after browsing about 30 posts last night hopefully the changes I made will get the humidity back down.

It’s working already!

What changes did you make?
Dehumidifier in tent/lung room?
More air flow exhausting tent?
Asking for a friend, thank you.

I put a dehumidifier in the lung room. But until I was able to get the dehumidifer out of the garage, I added another fan and a bowl of baking soda into the tent overnight to try and help with the humidity level until the morning when I was able to bring the dehumidifer into the house and get it up and running. It was like a 1 hour extreme change in the humidity level: from 72% down to 56% so quickly.

I’ve been playing with my microscope trying to get the hang of it so I’m ready to see clearly when I need to.
