Mutant bean! What do you think will happen?

Hey y’all, I was smoking some weed one day when a seed popped out of one of my nugs. The strain (Hennessy apparently) came from some crackhead and the weed was NOT good whatsoever so I really didn’t want to grow this, but I found a really weird looking mutant seed (kind of looks like a camel toe lol) that’s roughly twice the size of a regular bean. I seriously seriously doubt I’ll actually grow the plant to flower seeing as the weed was bunk as hell and I doubt event the most advanced growing practices will make it worthwhile. I’m just interested to see if it will germ and what will happen if it does. Anyone have any guesses or has anyone seen something like this before?

Looks genetically damaged.

Also a thought, again I was probably gonna just germ it and stick it in a gallon pot by the window if I get some interesting results. I just like seeing new different stuff

I do have to say, just because the smoke it came from sucked doesn’t mean the seed will.

Many factors come into play on the quality of smoke. Lack of nutrients at key points. Harvested at the wrong time. Improper drying techniques. Not properly cured…

I’ve had blah bags before and decided to grow the seeds back before I could order some and ended up with amazing results!

Good to know! I’d like to hold out hope that it could be good but this stuff was exceptionally bad. Reminded me of the hayseed stuff you’d get gyped with back in the 90s. Also definitely wasn’t well grown, dried, trimmed, or cured well, but I’d say the issue went well beyond the growers lack of care. I’d absolutely love to be able to just stick a plant or 10 in my back yard but the teachers and school staff next door would have some reservations

I always sprout 2 or more of the same strains and they have always preformed the same but different i have learned in my cycles they run 30-30-45days,

Interesting. I’ve only done two grows that were vastly different, mostly on my part. Sent one plant into flower way too early. First plant, Boston Runtz, was done only 6 weeks into flower! The other, Gelato 41, ran its time around normal at about 9 and a half weeks of flower.
