Mushrooms popping up

My friend is having mushroom woes, not the magic kind!

“I’m Having a problem with mushrooms wanting to grow in the soil around my plants.
What could I use to stop this problem.
Thanks for the help.”

Mushrooms are a fungus and are most likely growing because the moisture is too high in the soil. I would think a small fan or two pointed at the base will dry out the soil and stop the problem. Could be a watering problem, too much water. Jerry

Mushrooms in garden are very beneficial…Its the only highier organism able to diggest lignin…without mushrooms, wood matter will never decompose…
I welcome mushrooms in my garden beds , not trying to get rid of them…
Just make sure you not overwatering and leave the mushrooms alone, they be gone when their job is done…
