That goes back to the days of blurple with hot, inefficient lights and drivers.
The fact does remain, that leaf surface temperature is going to be cooler with modern LEDs. That means your ambient temps can be higher without affecting the leaf temperature. I think that’s about all the study truly shows.
Sorry if I confused you with the rant. this was the majority of the point I was trying to get across but brevity isn’t a strength of mine
It would mean less cooling capacity needed. As we were just discussing that can be quite a savings. Even more if you a large operation that runs a lot of light.
You shouldn’t mainline autos being they don’t veg long an it cuts in on your yield time but it’s all preference I use to mainline autos all time… but jus wanted to see how your doing
Hmm from inside leaf to outer edges I’m not sure, you are outside??? An depends i guess usually plants go from tip to inside but I’ve seen plants start fading from middle of leaf shouldn’t b a problem she jus using up what she got
If you click on that link budbrother went into great detail on what he’s seeing and how to fix. He even left a web describing how certain excesses deplete what other nutrients
Starting to feel like I will never correct the issues and it’s going to gradually worsen. Do you think I will still be able to finish with whatever’s going on? I am going the BAS 3.0 route next grow no acceptions. The site says 60 day flowering time but this is an auto, does that mean it’s done in 60 days? That would mean I only have 11 days left and would make sense why it’s degrading so fast.
To avoid overwatering pick up pot to see if it is lite.
How much drainage does that pot have?
You have weeks left to go by the looks of the pistols. Don’t get to down it can still produce some good product. From the looks of it plant was or is hungry. Could be ph.
Could be not drying out fast enough to get fed often enough. [My guess] pot should dry out every 2 or 3 days . IMO.
The up side is you will take what you have learned with this one to the next grow.
Do not give up on this one finish it out for the experience. If you can though start another so when this one finishes you have one to put in its place. This may be just me but I would say get some 3 or 5 gallon air pots and loose the straw. That way it will dry out faster.
Again just might be me but I have better results with air pots than fabric pots. I’ll tag you to DrsDank take a look at the grow I’m doing now and set them up like that. Make life easy.
Thanks man I appreciate the response, I mean top leaves are browning and curling and some of the new ones have a purple look to them. Someone went extensively through what the plant looked like, had me slurry test, feeding I’ve done, and then had me get my water ph’d to 6.0 and use build a bloom. But it seemed to speed up this degradation and now all leaves are dying off. Even sugar leaves are looking worse for wear so I don’t think it’s going to make another 2 1/2-3 weeks. Even then I’m sure it’s going to self herm itself because it looks like it’s dying to me. I’m currently letting the thing dry out 100%(so far been like 3 days) and hope it can make to Monday when I get my RO filter system. I’m really at a loss I was looking at pretty buds getting excited now every morning when I peak at it I’m expecting it to be gone.
Woah baby check it out man awesome… Really looks great … Man how you bin seems like you bin hitting it hard man awesome got some talent there but next pic try to steady your hand better so it will show better instead of yea…but plant looks great otherwise
