Miks grow log 2024

Yes, a good thing. Mycelium helps to increase nutrients available to plants, improve water efficiency, reduce erosion by acting as a cellular net, and promote root growth by adding oxygen to the soil and releasing nitrogen, phosphate, and other micronutrients.

Plants have something the fungi needs: energy from the sun in the form of sugar. The fungi on the other hand, has something the plant needs: access to the nutrients trapped in complex organic molecules.

Dont see any evidence of bugs or critters in coco or on leaves, could it be light burn? I did have some lensing spots on there, but this just started in last 24 hours.

Not seeing anything overly concerning Growmie, leaves get bumps, scrapes and bruises along the way. Monitor to make sure it doesn’t progress but rare for a plant at this age to show signs of a deficiency. Your res numbers look good :love_you_gesture:

How tall are the nets from the pots?

The first net is 10" from top of pots, do you think i should change it?

10ā€ is good, the one on the right I’d consider boosting if they were ā€œbornā€ at the same time. Seed to seed growth is different, so when you see growth differences favor the smaller plants, assume they will be behind the other. boosting when necessary. It might not end up being enough. If by chance it out performs the other you can pull from the boost. Scrogging is based on an even canopy to max yield.

Just for for thought.

Edit a lot… lol. I’m lit

@Low ok man appreciate the input will give it a booster seat. Also what would be considered a good distance from top net to bottom, its currently set fir 8" when i add it.

Honestly there are too many factors to guess the second net. Anywhere from 12ā€ to 36ā€ we are talking about strain dependent characteristics. Which can vary seed to seed. Generally speaking… your second net should be installed 2-4 weeks after flip. Working around branches and what not, the key for the second net, is adjustability. When done Correctly it is ONLY there to support weight. NOT control growth.

The only time you’d know where to place the secondary net is based on experience with the same cultivar. From clone. Now clones are more vigorous than moms, so you’d have to have ā€œgenerationsā€ of experience in the exact same conditions. Without that, you need to be able to adjust.

You follow? You don’t know until you know, and there is not general set point for the second net. People will guess and make suggestions but without the experience you don’t know until you do.

Once again i appreciate your following along and all your advice. Glad i didnt glue anything

I’m here for it man, I’ve made too many mistakes. Don’t glue anything up for scrogs. Just make multiple ā€œlegsā€ to swap in an out. I’m in a situation now where my clones far exceeded my expectations and they are all laying on each other. Because of the nature of my run, I can’t do anything about it. I don’t want anyone else to deal with that. Adjustability and support should be your concern.

I clipped 4 or 5 of these that were below canopy and no longer were recieving any light but they just kept getting bigger.
Am i correct to assume these leaves were robbing energy from the plant without providing anything beneficial to the top growth?
