That’s definitely a fim…! …but because those leaves are chopped they are going to set the plant back, cuz they can’t grow normally now
…when you top you want to get just the growth tip, believe me I have a hard time doing this as well, I have a threat on here called “the world’s worst topper”, it just takes time and a little practice (and I still do it once in awhile to be honest)

@Paranorman i only got the top part of new growth. Im tempting to get 4 colas from every f.i.m. ibeven plan on doing everyone that comes up. Im going for the big prize.
@merdocc You do know you can stick to one thread it makes life easier if you work this like a journal so people looking can see entire history of plant and grow. Four days after fim
They’ve actually look alil better now. Thats from yesterday.
Also switched to 4.5- 5 gallon pots. I checked & roots where already starting to bunch up at bottom. I was actually surprised.
Had to switch lights around as well.
Heres my $100 diy grow tent i made. Vegg on one side flower on other.
Veg room 4x5 flower 5.5x6
Carbon filter high as can be, tubing runs the hood of light, exit outside. Tent by Centrifug Fan.Uploading… i made box filter came in into where my fresh air comes in filtered. Nice hugh. Specially for a $100. Plus its 11ft. tall

Yesterday i went ahead & clipped all four of my lower fan leaves that where half dried out & strong, with a lot of rustic color. Plus they weren’t getting much light.
My results; top leaves are back perking up, & fim on this plant is decent i guess.
This is the one that was in pink pot. Doing. A lot better. Even fim.
@FloridaSon took ur advice. Whats a trial & error grow with no real trial for error. Can only get knowledge from this. I felt plant was wasting energy on useless fan leaves. Plus i have big under growth going.

@Countryboyjvd1971 been doing light doeses. Ffbg 3 1/2 tbs to ine gal. Mixed a full. Feeding of 6tbs yesterday.
You might want to add cal mag to you mix I need to using the ff trio just a FYI

Finally, I have something worth posting again.
Came home & checked out plants, & there where some that where drooping low low all of a sudden.
It got cold outside out of nowhere, & i grow in my garage in a tent, which i vent in fresh from as well. Temp in tent was 60, but didn’t think that was case. But did plug in heater.
Anyhow, I felt it was underwater. Wateredcwit ffbg. Turned off carbon fan to raise temp to HELP prevent overwatering. Since my temp STAYS AT 75. All ways & only drops to 70. Also lleft light on for a 24hr period. & Bam! Thry bounced back & got taller.
Guess i didn’t take pics this mourn, of them standing taller. Will later.

That all depends on how much room you have to grow and how big you want them
all plants will have a growth spurt after switching to flower I gained 22 inches last grow so keep that in mind
You have lights above and still need to keep that proper distance from top of canopy
how many do you plan on flowering at once in your 5x6 space? consider your plants will double at the least in height and size during flower and go from there
