what media can I use for my compost tea… I have worm and bat shit compost and looking for some media to put this shit in for my compost tea… PLEASE ADVISE … let’s hook up and share our buds with the ultimate peace pipe action… or roll it …not picky… I’ll get high however… PEACE.

Put in proper brewing device the compost alone should make a pretty rich cocktail. Kelp and fish hydrolysate are pretty popular in many tea recipes too. Otherwise plug in whatever is compatible that you think you need.
Molasses and liquid kelp is something I always add
Water is your main ingredient

Air pump and stone to brew it all with
I like water and blackstrap molasses as the starter then add to that depending on your time of grow
High N for veg , high P K for flower
This is whag works best for me.
If you have chlorine in your water or even if you ‘think’ you might. Bubble the water for 24 hours prior to introducing any of your ingredients. We want to start with clean water 
Minimum of 36 hour brew. Feeding within 30 minutes of turning of bubble stones.

Hit the woods and go all naturle. I look for old growth pine trees and harvest it about 2 ft out from the base.
Push all the leaves, pine neddles and twigs aside. The next few inches is the humus. 500 years to make 1 inch
This is where all your microbes ect. live.
I use about one 5 gallon bucket a season. Thats split between 14 brews.
Yeah that’s a problem were I live not much old growth forests here on long Island I’ll have to look into the commercial route I always use compost in my teas but composted compost would be better
Dude a bag of organic veg compost is great or if your trash haulers do composting food scraps you can often buy compost from them. I spend $8 on a 40lb bag of compost from the garden store.
I’m New To tea… I do clean water, a glug of molasses, liquid kelp, handful of compost, and any sort of composted poop that sounds helpful. Bubble for 24-36 hrs and water.
Typical of my style I don’t use a mesh bag, I just toss it all in a bucket and stir it up and drop my air stone in.
Yes I basically do the same as you I’ve been using COM lobster compost good stuff but humus seams to be a lot more concentrated worth a try if is not ridiculously priced
You get different microbes from lobster compost than veggie compost than cow manure compost.
I am gonna go dig up some humus for today’s batch. But I live in the forest with a large swampy wetland just through the woods. A healthy scoop of that muck should be nice.
I’ve had outdoor grows where I watered with stream water and it’s great. Super aerated and lots of bacteria

Thanks for the reply’s… We weren’t sure what to use to place the media in…so new to this…TEA BAGS!!! We’re shooting from the hip with this grow and lucky to have a gang of knowledgeable folks like yourselves. I’m an avid aquarium hobbyist and stoked a lot of these items are already in hand. Air pump, and wait for it…mesh bags! The 36 hour brewing makes a lot of sense, let them microbes duplicate. And because of our really warm weather… Coachella Valley…we can brew out side and let these bucket stew a bit. My brother n law likes to tinker for that magic potion, I will be keeping it SIMPLE… Worm droppings and Molasses, if I have to drop the ph… Bio Root. That’s my plan for now…my seedlings are barely 4 inches so have time to pick your brains here still…and again…Thank You!

+1 on the kelp. Seaweed has magic in it.
I sorta feel like the base is Molasses, Compost/Humus, and kelp and then toss in whatever else you wanna try.
what’s the recommended Kelp product to grab?

Bush Doctor has a $20 bottle of KElp and then there’s this for $10… Hmm.
I’m using bloom city but also use Neptune harvest kelp and fish emulsion
We use super big tea bags. Pretty much just a big mesh bag. We fill one with worm castings and one with humus. We let that hang in the tea while it is being brewed.
