McFlys ,aka MMseed, 4th endeavor journalized for improvement- All aboard!

Hello, @Caligurl does the Sweet Island Skunk like to be fed alot or is it sensitive to PPMs? I seem to be having an issue with it. Its a lighter shade of green and it is not growing very big.
I’ve been working with it. I got it to sprout new growth but its not stretching much. It seems delayed to me.

I have no clue. That was a one and only seed I gave you

Ok. Thanks. I just thought you might have grown this strain before and was familiar with its eating habits.

The plants look happy and healthy to me bro. Keep at it. :sunglasses::+1:t2:

Thanks,…so far I’m liking the ProMix over soil. Everything i mix to feed sets its self pH to 6.2 so theres no need to add pH UP that would just accumulate at the rootzones. They seem to be liking it also.

I just went to town on the little Sweet Island Skunk. I gave it the “Kushman Chiropractic” treatment then bent some branches around and clipped them. HST was definitely needed at this point, again. This should give it a hormonal response and boost its growth some once it repairs itself.
I went in the tent and abused her some. I think it hurt me more than her

Its such a small plant!

That tent looks lit! Nice training too. I’m predicting a killer harvest for you dude. :sunglasses::+1:t2:

I was just reading up on the Sweet Island Skunk on Kyle Kushmans website and it sounds like a really good smoke. Its mostly Sativa which is my go to strain. I love the trippy energetic mind stuff i get from it. I have other medications that help my muscles relax at night so i can get to sleep so, i am not dependent on weed to put me asleep. Especially in the middle of the day. I remember when i was younger at house parties that would last for a whole weekend with people running in amd out with all knids of different drugs to take. Those were the days man, i would be tripping on good blotter acid getting tuned onto lines of coke and popping Valuims and Qualudes. Those daze are greatfully dead though but i had a life of taking drugs for no reasons whatsoever other than too feel good. Where i was going with this, i don’t know but, i am just glad that weed has become labled a true medicine, and recognized for its healing qualities. I am missing a good stiff LSD trip in my life though. I had shrooms a few months ago, got, 8 grams left for a rainy day but, they didn’t cut it. I miss those potent blotter acids i used to get. They even came double dipped once in awhile, those were the best of times man.

I feel you! I was always a Sativa guy as well and definitely an acid guy. I do miss the luxury of having no real problems and being able to truly relax and enjoy myself.
My mindset and lifestyle has changed both of those. I need that Indica couch lock to chill me out or I damn near have an anxiety attack now and an acid trip could turn me homicidal so I had to scratch that altogether. Oh to be 47 again. :joy::rofl::sunglasses::metal:t2:

Good Acid trip or a good Mescline ride has been missed for a bit, but do not know if I do it again, wife and I did shrooms not long ago me I was cool with it, wife she had a not bad but the happy trip was lacking it was her first time.

Tell me about it… i know,… the world has changed and people are going nutzos. Thats the last thing i need in my life, is more people that want to be judgmental and focus on all my mistakes i made in life to take the focus off of their mistakes just to make their selves feel better. To me that is a weak and immature person. It does make me feel bitter as much as i would just like to shrug it off, it does fester in me and i get crazy thoughts. My mind would play big tricks on me if i was hallucinating, for sure.

Sorta forgot about my journal here. I’ve been all over the boards here.
This is the Peanut Butter Breath × Black Amnesia. Its just started its 4th week since flip. It transitioned 1 week ago.

Beautiful looking! That strain sounds like a winner to me. I really liked the PBB I’ve smoked and Black Amnesia sounds like it would be killer. :joy::sunglasses::metal:t2:

This run is alot better than my last one during this period in its growth cycle. I was running lower PAR, 700 ppfd actually. After taking the recommendations from the Photone Calculator. 700 is not enough at the beginning for transition afte flip to 12/12. I went with 900 this time. Now, i have the ppfd to 1000+/-100 and DLI at 45. I have the light 26 inches above the canopy but the dimmer is cranked to 100%. I am right between where i had those giant buds last winter and the messed up ones over this past summer. There shouldn’t be any light related issues this time. Other than the UVA bleaching my leaves slightly but thats over with. I just had to raise it up away from the canopy some.
The way i see it, i should have consistency now. I am far enough along this journey now that i have no excuse or reasons to screw anything up and have a successful grow every time now. I understand what is needed for success. If i burn up a plant now, that means i neglected it intentionally.

I am a little frustrated here.
Look at the grow i ran with the Rspec 700 and 320 FRs that one grow and how big those buds are at 3 weeks after flip to 12/12…

This dosent look anything like my present grow at 3 weeks in and just the 700 Rspec! I should hang another 300 watt Rspec in there.

Calling out the big hitters that i know for this one. Not saying you guys are the only ones but, the ones i know.

Different pheno, different strain, different plants. A lot of things different in there this time around.

Agree with :point_up_2:

On a separate note, Have you checked the numbers around the grow space, plants in the back left look like their getting more lighting intensity (leaves are standing up) than the others :love_you_gesture:

Agreed. For one, this round of plants appears half the height of the other. You can’t expect flower formation on parts of plants that aren’t there.
