Marty McFly Weed 2nd grow Journey/Journal

Those are called Tent Staples. You can get them off Amazon.
The Far Red in these lights i bought from HLG are whats making them look like they do. They are pretty decent lights.

Thanks, i am just trying to get them to fill out more. I want to get the bud site count up on the NY Diesels before the flip. They should be alot bigger on the MW i feel. Will they grow out bigger once i release the clips and ties? Is it just because i am keeping them tied down that theyā€™re not getting that big? They seemed alot wider on my untrained plants from my first grow.

I took the lights up to 800 ppfd alsoā€¦ i need these plants to start munching down on some of that fertilizer i just fed them. Theyā€™re stuffed full.

Found them! And theyā€™re rust proof!

Thanks @FUKAZ28 !!! Idk if I would be strong enough to bend them, my left index finger is still numb from bracing myself up while in the tent :joy::joy::joy::joy: Iā€™m an old lady now lol

Update: 11/22/23

Filling out pretty good. I am just a little concerned about the one on the left in front. Its the MW that read 1200 ppm 6.7 pH. Its growing but the leaves seem small to me and the tops dont look all that robust like the other MW at 2000 ppm 6.5 pH.
Any thoughts on what could be happening? Does it need watered more often?

Iā€™m noticing something like that on Misty. I just watered them yesterday and the soil looks dry already! Iā€™m thinking they can handle 32-64oz each at this point! But Iā€™m still learning so donā€™t take it from me :joy::joy::joy::joy:

2 of my MWs have incredibly skinny leaves, but they have been my quickest growing plants and have the most cola sites! Iā€™ve had my apprehensions about how thin they are, especially because my other MW looks nice and beefy. But, I did read a lot of past threads with the same concerns and the answer ā€œlooks like a sativa heavy strainā€ kept popping up. Your plants look gorgeous and healthy!

Its important to not let the soil dry out completely when growing organic like the practice says, flood to drought but there is a point to when the plants growth will stunt if allowed to dry out to often, i feel. Waterings and feedings need to be right on time or the plant will suffer. I found this out on my feeding schedule from my first grow. I skipped a few feedings and they suffered in the end. I am determined not to let that happen on this grow.
I think my MW needs more Nitrogen to be honest. They just donā€™t look right to me. I wished someone with more experience than us would chime inā€¦

:worried::worried::worried::worried: Yeah, they dried out before watering. Iā€™m thinking every three days I should water them.

And I hope someone whoā€™s more experienced does chime in to help you!

This is what i am understanding also. The MW is naturally a lighter green with thin leavesā€¦ thank you for the reminder that its just the strain i am dealing with and theres no nutrient deficiency going on or underwateringā€¦
Do you have a grow journal i can follow?
I appreciate your help, thank you.

Iā€™m still quite the noob! But, I have become quite the topic search expert on this forum  And with all the help I have received from others, if I can ever be of the slightest assistance at putting someone elseā€™s mind at ease thatā€™s all I can hope for. :slightly_smiling_face:

I do have a grow journal ā€¦ havenā€™t done an update in a week or so. And it is mostly me dealing with nutrient lockout, lol. I feel I need to get back to it.

In the link below, you can see the 2 plants closest to the camera in the big tent are the MWs that have the skinny leaves, and they are definitely lighter in color than the others, but the ppm does not indicate they are hungry at all.

Update:
Plants are stacking on growth. I am still giving them LST no chopping nothing, just bending and cracking stems to induce growth. I am noticing that the stems and branches thicken up quicker and put out healthier tops by doing this. I am also noticing enhanced odors coming from them compared to my last grow without any LST. These are going to be better flowers than my last run.

Each plant is around 1500 ppm with a pH of 6.5 - 6.7ā€¦i noticed the one MW that i have been concerned about is improving after feeding it 500 ppm this morning, left over from the previous feeding. So i bumped it up some because last runoff reading said 1000 ppm and wasnā€™t growing as good as the others at 1500 ppm. The other got plain pHed water with a bit of molasses to up the pH a bit from 6.2. It worked.
