Marijuana grow room questions

From a fellow grower:

Just in the beginning planning stages…
I have basement room approx. 12 x 20 with an 8’ ceiling…
I would like to start with the best LED lighting they make…
and go from there with the amount of venting and air supply needed
to keep the room ventilated and smell free to the outdoors…
I have enough power to supply and have a water source…
just reading up so that I do this correctly…start-up funds not an issue…
would like to yield at least 16oz per plant…so I want to do this the correct way…
how many plant per sq ft…including free area space for moving…don’t think I need many plants
if I could have an high yield…

I would not put more than one plant per 4sf, Maybe even allow a foot in between for great air movement.

So; IN an 8 foot row, I put 3 plants. This becomes a matter of personal choice, but I see you want big plants; You need to plan ahead, (as you are), and leave space to allow for the plants to spread out, and not be mashed together. :smile:
