Male/Female maturity?

Do the male plants reach matuarity the same time female buds mature? I noticed my males matured (produced pollen)before the buds were ready to harvest on the females. Also I’ve noticed the bulbs on the males seem to open up and produce pollen from their small flower over night, what is the stage from the sighting to pollen release? thanks in advance for considering this.

Usually males blow pollen first, but continually release around the same time females also produce more pistils.

Thanks covertgrower, I’M thinking they are both (m/f) attached to the light cycle/ the 12 12 hours. Do the males run out of pollen before females finish another word is it possible to still have some harvest that survived the pollination.

If you let a male burst in the same area as females. Congrats on the seeds. You can remove the male and douse everything with water. This will kill the pollen in the area and removing the male will prevent further pollination. But it’s most likely too late. You’re a parent. Congrats! Happy growing!
