Good morning growmies! I’ve had a Magic Butter Machine for a few years now but I’ve only infused butter and coconut oil for cooking with so far.
I’d like to get into making my own oil to refill thc pens with. Does anyone out there have experience with this and a solid recipe to go by?
Look into a press for making rosin, you can add natural terp extracts as a thinner or just dab the rosin. I would stay away from most liquidizers as they contain VG or PG🤟

No additives unless you want to add a little terp 
You can fraction off terps to add or just start with making a quality extract.

I think you are going to have to do ethanol extraction or pressing, rather than infusing with oil in the MBM. I’ve never done carts but this is what I’m aware of. Something like a Source Turbo or press.
That said, you’ll have more versatility using ethanol solvent extraction as it can target both narrow and broad spectrum oil, depending on your use.
That’s what I’m gathering from the articles Budbrother sent. It seems presses are a used tool to have. I may have to ask Santa for one
