Just started using these bendy clips, I really like them! Anyone else use these? This is an El Diablo auto, first auto grow so I dont have time to do anything crazy. This is the beginning of week 5. Topped at like 22 days, tied the split down to spread, and am using these clips to try and get a flat canopy.
I use them all the time, they’re great!
I do but also like the guilt of smashing a branch just to see it stand up and get thick where I wounded it.
Haha I just did it on the plant to the left of this one! Where it was topped. She’ll come back. BUT, its an auto, hopefully I did didn’t traumatize it too much.
Right. Its like “oh no… im so sorry” 2 days later plant is like “mere mortal… I am stronger now than when you broke me”
Ha, I heard that in a Daedra voice from Elder Scrolls. “Now move the light wherever you want. For I shall grow towards it… Unimpeded!”
I did a counter wire as I pull all growth in the same direction. Looped coated wire attached to the pot.
So after 2 weeks I move it up a little.
A week later main stem decided since I was nice enough to scrape through the skin of the stem here are 2 more stems to grow pot on.
So now I have 2 14 inch 1/8 inch thick mini stems running on the outside of the plant both with pre flowers growth.
I know it’s not going to be a viable node but it was Kool watching it grow.
Thats pretty wild, they grew out where you hurt it?
It’s true, like a human bone, it mends itself stronger than before.
I snapped this one like Chuck Norris. 2 days later…
After that I felt like @kaptain3d . These are some tough girls.
Bravo! You deserve this:
Well done Sir!
The clips are amazing little tools! I would say be careful not to snap your branches and alao make sure the bend it enough to bring the top down lower than the other leaves. I made this mistake and the stalk just grew a big curve in it, and it took off towards the light! Lol
