LSD-25 Autoflower, week 3 of flowering, 50 days old

…and yes they can over ripen and your cannabinoid compounds start transitioning away from D9 …
I learned that the hard way

Looking good !!
Shew 59 days is awful short :grimacing:
The earliest I’ve finished one is 75 days…and really that was a situational plant that probably could have went another week honestly.
Guess it’s a judgment call… are YOU satisfied with it ?

Couple things to consider regarding if it should keep going or not:

  • all (mostly) pistils red and curled back in.
  • How’s the frost
  • Have buds hardened

Final thoughts:
If it was my grow I’d be hesitant to chop at 59 days (if we’re talking total time) …but… It is possible that it’s truly finished …either way, you’ve done good and should enjoy the fruits of your efforts

Keep updated

The buds are hard, I little harder than an orange. Buds are super frosty, the hairs just turned red like 4 days ago. Smells is super strong. It is a far cry from my in ground harvest of my northern lights, I got 21 grams off of 2 plants, after 12 weeks. But those were my very first, so in comparison I am happy with this one.

Some autos finish early for sure. Has she stopped growing? I have one that’s at about 8 weeks and she has potential bud sites all over her but no flowers yet. I don’t really grow in soil anymore but a friend gave me the seedling and I don’t know what the strain is even though I’m the one who gave him the seeds. I’m building a new grow space still working on wiring and insulation so I haven’t had any hydro grow since first of year.can’t wait to become a farmer john again

She has a little nutes burn on some leaves and needs defoliation again. I tested ppm yesterday from runoff at feeding time and it was like 2400. First time I’ve ever checked that so I assume meter needs calibration. Don’t really no what I’m doing when it comes to ppm. I always ph to around 6

I’m not good at the numbers science of it either… I think PH is supposed to be 6.5 but don’t hold me to that LoL … Honestly I need to work on my numbers and I’d probably do a little better in the end …but I average 3oz per plant long as I don’t do more then two per tent…
This past run I did 4 in a 2x2 and its more like 1.5/plant … But this was also an experiment of sorts …I intentionally pushed that limits of my equipment to see where the “line” really is…now I know
They’ve all flowered decent except one runt, and the buds frosted & hardened … they just didn’t form good colas… more like ping pong balls except the tops … It’ll do I suppose while run the next cycle :man_shrugging::smirk:.

My last grow which was my first in hydroponic I had 8 plants in a 4x8. My yield was 4 lbs. my results were awesome for my skill level but it in my opinion it was due to hydroponic setting, nothing I did. I just followed the nutrient recipe using Green Planet nutes. I think it will be much better I think next grow if I train them. But for some reason I can’t bring my self to defoliant or strip the bottom 1/3 of autos.

That’s a good harvest :+1:
Ahh I treat auto pretty much the same way as photos in regards to lollipoping… It’s not gonna bother them. Maybe pick one plant and try it, see what ya think… Everybody has different comfort levels and ideas / techniques that they prefer… Long as it works for you, go for it :v:
