Lower fan leaves yellowing and big brown spots

Hello all… so I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this yellowing / Browning and big brown spots are?? The leaves do feel a little soft as if it were a nitrogen deficiency but I am currently feeding Flora Trio and have been steadily ramping up dosage because leaves are still turning yellow on me. Here’s a bit of info

  • What strain, ILGM STRAWBERRY COUGH FEM
  • Method: SOIL, FFOF
  • Vessels: 5 GALLON FABRIC POT
  • PH of Water, CONSISTENT 6.0/well water
  • PPM/TDS N/A
  • Indoor
  • Light system. BESTVA 2000W LED
  • Temps; Day, 25-27C/ ABOUT 20-21C Night
  • Humidity; Day, 49-52/ Night 55-59
  • Ventilation system; no/ just fans, 1 over canopy
    1 down below, 1 oscillating
  • AC, YES, Central household AC vent
  • Co2; no
To add, my feeding regimen is as follows.
Nutrients every OTHER watering. Floragro Trio. Bottle recommendation during flower is 1tspGro(N)
    2tsp Micro(P)
    3tsp Bloom(K).
I am currently at 1 tsp Gro, 1 3/4tsp Micro,
1 3/4 tsp Bloom. I have been steadily creeping up on nutrients in fear I may burn but still have no signs of burning or toxicity. Very slight and I mean slight, Browning at the tips of some of the fan leaves but that’s about it. During the off week from nutrients I do give one teaspoon unsulphured molasses per gallon of water. Also, one teaspoon Epsom salt per gallon every 3 to 4 weeks. She is currently in the fourth week of flower. 28 days since the 12/12 switch.
Thank you everyone for your help in advance and please, if I forgot to mention anything let me know and I will do my best to answer

Got a picture of the whole plant?

Looks like she is consuming herself for nutrition, specific to N and a few other things.

Without your ppm # and well water at 6.0, she may have nute lockout.

With your well water PH that low and I believe most bottled nutes drop PH well at least fox farms does are you PH adjusting after mixing nute regimen?

Thanks for the help Zee.
I was worried that lockout may be the cause. I say my pH is a 6.0 because I use pH test strips and the color is consistently yellow which is a 6 on the test strip box. I use GH Hydroponics Flora Gro Trio as nutes and the strip color stays relatively the same as the well water. Think I’d be better off with a digital meter?? If so, any suggestions? Thanks

I think everyone or most on the forum recommend a digital meter you can get by with the cheapos but If you do that make sure you have calibration solution and calibrate frequently… but I’ve had good success with this ph kit I calibrate weekly and never have problems it’s very accurate reliable and takes AAA batteries comes ina kit with calibration fluid

It’s lights out right now so I can’t snap a fresh pic but here are some from a few days ago. You can’t really see the bottom and that’s where all of the discoloring is Also, some of the fan leaves closer to the canopy are starting to turn pale green. Can upload more tomorrow if needed.

I do test the pH after I add nutrients and Ali it stays around the same color as the well water, around a 6.0. I had a feeling these strips warm cutting the mustard. Also, that digital meter looks like the one a grower uses on YouTube, I watch a lot of his videos. So I have a question, any ideas on getting my pH raised while waiting on that digital meter?? I’ve heard something about mixing dolomitic lime with water but never tried it. Thanks for the assist!

Most of us use PH up and PH down several brands GH is cheap and a little goes along ways but since you don’t have that there’s a few thing you can do to get it up a bit but might be difficult to get it pinned without a ph meter… you can add dolomite Lime to your soil to get that PH up definitely do a little research and see how much other people use you can over do it from what I here and also the dolomite isn’t just a PH buffer it also adds calcium and magnesium which is also good for your ladies but I believe you will want to amend that into your soil!

Ok sweet. I happen to have some dolomite lime on hand so I’ll def be looking into amending with that. I saw some ph up/ down at the local nursery. Guess that’ll be my next move if this lime doesnt do her right. So, being at week 4, you think this will affect overall yield?? Thanks!

It’s possible it may kick up and finish off just fine and surprise you she should still finish fattening up as soon as she’s eating again… my last cycle I had 3 autos and about week 5 I had to leave home for 2 days and I was growing in coco and was watering 2 times a day the coco complete dried out tanked my PH and caused a lockout lost a week of growth and they still surprised me pulled over 3 ounces off each plant which I though was pretty good considering the issues that came up

Your plants look good , I do recommend purchasing digital pH meter. @Teffygreenthumb mention apera would be a great choice. To check run off and also pH back up to 6.5 when feeding. When you get your new meter water to runoff check your pH at that point you will know if you need to add something to bring ph up a little bit I wouldn’t trust the strips. Good luck

Wow that’s nuts! I’ve heard these are very resilient plants. Will definitely be taking steps to nurse her back and I’m glad I know what steps those are lol. Thank you so much for the help!

Yes I have already ordered the pen LOL. Would definitely be getting those runoff numbers as well. I have three plants currently and the other two don’t seem to be doing as bad as this one. Going to check all of them and get them all dialed in. Thanks for your help on this!

I think you’ve done very well ! I noticed you’re using foxfarm ocean Forest it usually gets me to flowering stage then I will start feeding. If you don’t already have you need a TDS meter . To check your ppm run off. And to prepare your nutes to feed .That will let you know when you need to start feeding and how much. I look back at support ticket PPM you put NA just my thoughts good luck.
