Plant looks healthy and what you get from her (either of them) should be better than any bag weed I ever bought. Do you know if anyone is growing around you or have you been around other grows? You may have just got some inadvertent pollination…
I have not been around any other grows and I’m pretty sure almost confident nobody near me is growing. I live in a typical Orange County neighborhood and there’s nothing growing in my neighbors backyards for sure (I can see over fences). Other than going to the dispensary weekly I’m never around any other source of marijuana. Since this is my first practice grow before I move to Prohibition land I think I will go ahead and take this as a learning opportunity let them both finish and see if I end up with just a couple, a lot, or no seeds in the healthy one and the suspect one.
No use in getting rid of her now she is almost done grow her out u can still wnd up with aome good smoke and u get seeds which maybe ok to plant next time
Let her finish. You keep saying suspect plant, when you should be saying pregnant plant. If you haven’t found a plant pecker to prove paternity, all you know is that there was some airborne fornication going on. Whether it was a case of self-gratification or tent-rape is undetermined.
He suspects her of being a hermie. I can’t see male parts…
That’s my point. He only suspects her because she’s the one with seeds. That doesn’t mean she’s the one that hermied, just the one that got knocked up.
If the other isn’t it’d be a miracle. The Immaculate Contraception…
I suppose if I somehow brought pollen in the tent on my clothes then sure she could have seeds and not be a hermie, although would be a freak coincidence since I’ve not been around any grows. If other plant was the actual hermie would be weird since it shows no signs of anything AND is continuing to produce nice healthy long growing bud colas. Either or, they’re almost done. Still looking forward to 1st harvest soon
My point is that hermies don’t just start producing seeds. There must be a male pollen sack burst, pollen go airborne, and land on a pistol. Since you found no male bits, it could have come from either one. If you’re scrapping a plant for producing pollen, you ought to be sure you got the right one.
If, on the other hand, you’re scrapping the plant because it has seeds, and you don’t want seeds, then you do you. I’d be more inclined to grow it out and either pick out seeds or say screw it at the end of the grow, rather than now. Damage done, if you can’t find the nanners.
Agreed. I’m not bouche’, seed here and there not the end of world if happens.
This was put up in previous show grow post and it shows that what I found definetly could have been the ovule perianth, not immature seeds. Good info here either way
Curious what you determined and your course of action. I have a similar issue, grew 4 ILGM Blue Dreams indoor autoflower. 1 looks exactly like the photos posted with the bic. Plant is sticky and tricomes are present. We are about 11 weeks. Just moved her outside until we can decide. Trouble uploading photos
Thanks
Here are “naners”. Very small, none have dropped pollen (yet) and I only found them on a few top buds. Only on 2 of 6 plants. The 2 that had them were vegged for about 4 months before I flipped them to 12&12. They were from super lemon haze seeds.
the other 4 plants were clones from those same seeds. So I suspect I may have vegged the seed plants too long or they just are showing herms from stress.
The pics are at the start of week 7 of flower. It also looks like these plants will be ready to harvest about 2 weeks earlier (in the flower stage) than when the seed plants flipped at about week 8 as opposed to the next grow plants at week 16.
that is a lot of info but I really dont know what caused these little varmints. Im just guessing…
I also think I have a hermie a black widow feminized auto and if anyone can help me if I can figure out how to post on here myself my own post or pics would be awesome thank u
Sorry not auto I meant Black Widow Photo from ILGM
