Looking for some new TV or movies

I didn’t see a recent post, so here’s a call out to the community for shows or movies to watch. I’ll start with Clarkson’s farm. I just binged, it’s pretty freakin’ funny (IMO). Pretty sure y’all farmers will laugh for sure .

Love death and robots is great! 2 more to add would be legend of vox machina (dunegons and dragons campaign by critical role play thru made into a tv series f**king hilarious!). Thats on amazon prime. The other one is record of ragnarok. That show is on netflix and its kinda like a mortal kombat tv series. Lots of fights very brutal and just packed full of action!

If anyone grew up in or near the Tri State area and remembers Action Park in Vernon NJ back in the 80’s, there’s an absolutely hilarious documentary about the place on HBO Max called “Class Action Park”. Even if I wasn’t stoned I would have laughed my a$$ off, but it’s awesome to watch high, and for those of us who went there back in the day, the memories that come back while watching are priceless.

There’s not much I can stomach to watch these days. All the new shows and movies are pushing some kind of agenda. I subscribed to Crunchyroll and pretty much exclusively watch anime. Attack on Titan, Black Clover, Demon Slayer, Sword Art Online and Tokyo Revengers would be some good ones for those new to anime. Once I saw how well crafted and emotional some of the story lines are and how visually stunning some of the artwork is I was hooked. I have spent a lot of hours watching and could highly recommend dozens more titles.

I won’t argue that, but there are still some gems to be found…

Try Kim’s Convenience not exactly new, but if you have not watched it, it’s kind of a flashback to the 70s/80s sitcoms where everyone and everything is fair game to make fun of…

I have actually been watching a lot of old school re-runs, I had Sanford & Son on last weekend as background noise, such greatness…

@mingleme  Sanford and Son…gotta love the old skool sit-coms…dated BUT to me the best…Some of my favs of that era besides Sanford & Son are
All In The Family
Whats Happening
Barney Miller
Jefferson’s
Good Times
Thats just a few from the comedy category…My family is movie and television buffs so I had a lot of different genres to watch and choose from.
Now we can talk movies…Hmm I have some gems too!

@AL_GREEN Agreed full stop with your whole list but All in the Family is a notch up in my book. That’s some crazy funny television. And so cutting edge for the day. Could you imagine trying that today? Incoming from all directions!!

PS Edith was no dingbat, she won all of the battles she picked

Wow what memories from watching with my GP, looked and acted just like ole archy.
My wife never watched it, now she does and can’t believe her and her dad didn’t watch it.
Pretty cool I thought they are even airing it on OTA tv :+1:

That’s almost as tough as picking my favorite Rush album, but I have to go with Ginger.

@OGIncognito I just watched Things are Tough All Over, good stuff!

@Cap_Ron here’s a movie by Errol Morris about Florida’s town called Vernon. It’s < an hour and beyond hilarious if you want to see some serious country livin’ - if you come to Washington County today, it’ll be similar
