ILGM Black Widow fem. Day 55
I was trying to wait till 60 days, but they are going crazy. Flip to 12/12 tonight. They both got a 2qt first dose of Jacks Bloom Booster this morning. I’ve been defoling almost daily, and the next day you can hardly tell, it fills out again that quick. Light is 15” above tallest cola @680ppfd , intensity at 100% should I lower it ?? Viparspectra 2500. More defol ??
Also I have some ilgm gold leaf autos burning a whole in my stash box. Thinking of starting 2 in 3 gal fabric pots in closet with the 2 Black Widows ??? Wife is onboard

Hey Since flipping saturday, Ive just now noticed the light that comes from power strip and my humidifier. I blocked out as much as I can. Problem ?? BTW: They are doing great !!

Germed 2 Gold leaf autos goin in with the Widows Got my happy frog red solos all set up, put seeds in … knocked both cups over. They were on a tote lid. All spillage was contained to the lid. I can only find 1 of the germed seeds… So. which cup is the other seed in. i looked gently in both solo cups…no seed. I guess we’ll find out if i picked the right cup to put the seed i found in…lmao.

If u have any light from ur humidifier or any other place u need to black them out with something otherwise it can affect ur plants flowering stage

I always knock over the cup or drop the seed or accidentally float the seed up when watering.
If I don’t kill the little seed, then the biggest battle is sometimes won.
I suck at it when they are tiny. My big meat hook hands bungle, clobber and bludgeon them invariably at the beginning.
That’s where I am now, just crushed a solo cup with a full spray bottle and knocked the seed roots out of the soil . Had to replant a 1" seed tail

Im getting a couple of those cupholder things from McD’s they give you to carry drinks…haaa !!

In my limited experience and what I have read indicates that blocking the status lights “as much as I can” will not cut it. Use some black electrical tape or some other totally opaque material to COMPLETELY block those indicators. During veg it is not big deal (most of the time) but during flower it can cause several undesired effects including hermies or preventing the plant from transitioning to flower properly.

What I’ve never really understood about the total darkness to flip the plant to flower requirement, is that in nature doesn’t the plant see the moon light and so they don’t have total darkness either?

2nd seed popped this morning…in the other cup
