Hey everyone, can light intensity make temps go up?
I jus flipped to 12/12 ,Thursday will make a week. But my temperature is crazy with lights on 77-81 n thats with the tent open:person_facepalming:t5:, lights off 68-70. I dont have a whole of room in my apt for tooooo much more like a portable ac. I have a vent pushing my already ac into to tent. Any suggestions

Yes, lights generate heat. This is not extremely hot though Growmie. Does your light have a removable driver, you can remove that and hang it outside your tent to lower the heat the light puts off

Just opened my room about an hour ago, been holding 86.6* and 66.6rh all night.
Plants are happy

Ok ill try that. I jus got it mara hydro fc-e1500 (dimmable) but ill try that out. Much appreciated

1500PPFD with 200CUFT tent about 550 watts.
air exchanging (cooling)
600watts requires more air exchange, for temp controlling.
Dehumidifuer adds 5-F minimum.

No worries. Others and I responded to the original post. Your temps are fine. I wouldn’t worry much unless you get in the upper 80’s.
