I have a feminized Harlequin that’s at 8 weeks and I want to flip it to 12/12 lighting to get this show on the road. It’s growing with a beautiful Auto GDP, already 3 weeks into flowering and looking great, inside a 2x2 tent. I don’t think there will be a problem with the GDP auto finishing up with a 12/12 lighting (it’s been 18/6 this whole time), but I also have two 2-week old Fem Harlequin seedlings in the same tent.
I assume I shouldn’t leave the seedlings on a 12/12 or that will mess them up. What’s a good solution to this? Do the 12 on at night and pull the seedlings from the tent in the day so they get more light? That’s the only thing I can think of right now.
Any help on this? I think I may have messed this one up…
Welcome aboard! Your autos and 2 at 8wks are fine under 12/12, but like @Dclark said, if you leave the little sprouts, they’ll go into flower as soon as the reach maturity. Unless you can grow outside, or have another setup to veg them under.
Divide n conquer, u can pick up a cheap aluminum domed spot light, along with a screw n LED grow light. Youngsters don’t require tons of light r space. Find a suitable space wherever u gots room, n can hang the LED, if u can move some air, great. Not sure of the cost or ur budget, but I’m sure this would work temporarily. Best of luck my friend, I hope everyone survives….
