Im battling the heat where am at. I’m
i going to get better results raising light at same intensity with fans going higher speed or lower intensity and keeping light at distance while managing temperatures best i can without portable A/C in veg right now. Hoping get one before flowing statge so i dont dry up the thrichromes on the flower. Right now keeping at 81 tp 80 and light off 77 ? I having trouble lowering more than that right now plants are ok right now but worring about future.

You describe my problem correctly, except, my wife does laundry and the dryer adds to the problem. The dehumidifier works good for RH but destroys the temp 85-90. Then I shut down the dehumidfier and wait it out.
Lights on 9PM off 8AM.
HLGs run cooler than the China Cheapies (IMD- I bought them years ago, preparing for growing).
Window or portable dual hose unit is best solution.

Those temps shouldn’t bother it at all… they can tolerate highs into the mid 80s with no issues and lows in the 60s.
How old is the plant ? Pic ?

What strain is that looks saliva dominant?
It’s a couple Purple Punch auto and a couple Pineapple Express auto.
They’re indica dominant. Just big plants.

Gromie, I have my tent in a small room I’ve made my office. It’s a west facing room and I’m located on the 31st parallel and boy does it got hot down here.! The AC is set to 75 and the lung room hangs around 76 so that is my baseline. My humidifier and exhaust were working overtime to keep a VPD between .80 and 1.0 and the plants are in propagation. I backed off that target VPD and now set triggers for .5 (low) and .9 as the high. Exhaust and humidifier haven’t come on in over an hour now but the temp at the probe is 80 F and the RH is 83%. I am hoping that will work for these three day old babies. VPD is hanging at .57 kPa. Is that too low??

You got it under control. I cant get my vpd down and humidity .ul with all fans and Ac going. Waiting to get portable AC .

Dude, opened the tent to put a few drops of water on the girls and the tent hasn’t gotten back. It’s running hard to get back there.
I cant grow in summer (indoors) without it.
